Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman matematis siswa yang menyebabkan nilai siswa kurang dalam pembelajaran. Penyebab rendahnya pemahaman matematis siswa karena peran guru yang kurang dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem-based learning berbantuan media e-komik terhadap peningkatkan pemahaman matematis siswa di sekolah dasar dan juga untuk mengetahui perbandingan pemahaman matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran model problem-based learning berbantuan media e-komik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi ekperimen desain non-equivalent control-group design, jumlah siswa sebanyak 41 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrument pre-test dan post-test, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 39%. Hasil uji N-Gain berada pada kualifikasi tinggi dengan interpretasi efektif, sementara pada kelas kontrol berada pada kualifikasi sedang dengan interpretasi kurang efektif. Hal ini berarti penggunaan model problem-based learning berbantuan media e-komik lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran cooprative learning. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan e-komik dengan pembelajaran yang lebih rutin ----- This research is motivated by the low mathematical understanding of students which causes students to score less in learning. The cause of students' low mathematical understanding is due to the teacher's lack of role in utilizing learning media. The research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by e-comic media on improving students' mathematical understanding in elementary school and also to determine the comparison of mathematical understanding of students who get learning problem-based learning model assisted by e-comic media. This study used a quasi-experimental research method non�equivalent control-group design, the number of students was 41 students. The research instrument used pre-test and post-test instruments, observation and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase of 39%. The N-Gain test results are in high qualification with effective interpretation, while the control class is in medium qualification with less effective interpretation. This means that the use of problem-based learning model assisted by e-comic media is better than the cooprative learning model. The researcher recommends further research using e-comics with more routine learning.
