Abstract
Perkembangan ilmu pendidikan dan teknologi pada era globalisasi memberikan tantangan dan peluang baru bagi sektor pendidikan. Literasi sains, sebagai kemampuan individu untuk memahami, menggunakan, dan mengevaluasi informasi ilmiah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, menjadi keterampilan penting bagi peserta didik di abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan literasi sains peserta didik sesudah penerapan pembelajaran Personal digital inquiry terintegrasi proyek lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung yang terdiri atas 58 peserta didik. Kemampuan literasi sains yang terdapat pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga kompetensi yaitu menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah, mengvealuasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah, serta menginterpretasi data dan bukti secara ilmiah. Instrument yang digunakan sebanyak 30 soal yang terdiri dari 25 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal uraian yang modifikasi dari PISA 2018 serta angket respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran Personal digital inquiry yang berjumlah 20 item. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa secara keseluruhan setelah penerapan strategi penerapan pembelajaran Personal digital inquiry terintegrasi proyek lingkungan dengan skor N-Gain 0,64 dengan kategori sedang dan dengan tingkat keefektifan cukup efektif. Adapun respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran Personal digital inquiry nilai rata-rata seluruh indikator 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. The development of education and technology in the era of globalization provides new challenges and opportunities for the education sector. Science literacy, as an individual's ability to understand, use, and evaluate scientific information in everyday life, is an important skill for learners in the 21st century. This study aims to identify the improvement of students' science literacy after the application of Personal digital inquiry learning integrated with environmental projects. The research method used is pre-experiment with one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were grade X students in one of the high schools in Bandung City consisting of 58 students. The science literacy skills contained in this study consist of three competencies, namely explaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific enquiry, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. The instrument used was 30 questions consisting of 25 multiple choice questions and 5 description questions modified from PISA 2018 and a questionnaire for students' responses to Personal digital inquiry learning which amounted to 20 items. The results obtained are that there is an increase in students' overall science literacy skills after the application of the Personal digital inquiry learning strategy integrated with environmental projects with an N-Gain score of 0.64 with a moderate category and with a fairly effective level of effectiveness. As for the students' response to Personal digital inquiry learning, the average value of all indicators is 88% with a very good category.
