Abstract
Keterampilan menyimak harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik sekolah dasar sebagai dasar bekal dalam proses pembelajaran sehari-hari di sekolah. Begitu pula dengan keterampilan menulis yang merupakan keterampilan lanjutan yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik fase C sekolah dasar. Namun berdasarkan hasil observasi di SD A Kota Bandung, keterampilan menyimak dan menulis peserta didik pada materi cerpen mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kurang optimal. Konsentrasi peserta didik menyimak mudah buyar dan peserta didik tidak dapat menulis kembali isi cerpen yang sudah dibacakan. Sehingga dilakukan penelitian ini yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh keterampilan menyimak cerpen terhadap kemampuan menulis kembali isi cerpen peserta didik fase C sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD X Kota Bandung dengan jumlah 75 orang peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 40 orang peserta didik yang diambil menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Uji instrumen yang dilakukan adalah uji validitas, uji reabilitas dan uji linieritas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan sebesar 0,830 atau 83% antara keterampilan menyimak cerpen dan keterampilan menulis isi cerpen peserta didik fase C sekolah dasar. (2) Keterampilan menyimak cerpen dan keterampilan menulis isi cerpen saling memengaruhi satu sama lain sebesar 0,688, yang artinya sumbangan pengaruh keterampilan menulis isi cerpen sebesar 68%. Angka tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sedang, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti fase pertumbuhan anak, lingkungan dan metode belajar. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diantaranya; guru dapat meningkatkan frekuensi kegiatan menyimak dan menulis agar peserta didik terlatih, dan sekolah dapat merancang program tes keterampilan menyimak dan tes keterampilan menulis pada jenjang fase lain lalu menganalisisnya. Listening skills must be possessed by elementary school students as a basic provision in the daily learning process at school. Likewise, writing skills are advanced skills that must be mastered by elementary school phase C students. However, based on observations at A Elementary School in Bandung City, the listening and writing skills of students on short story material in Indonesian language subjects are not optimal. The concentration of students listening is easily dispersed and students cannot rewrite the contents of short stories that have been read. So this study was conducted which aims to determine whether there is an effect of listening skills on the ability to rewrite the contents of short stories of phase C elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population of this study were fifth grade students of X Elementary School in Bandung City with a total of 75 students. The sample in this study was 40 students who were taken using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and documentation. Instrument tests carried out are validity tests, reliability tests and linearity tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a significant relationship of 0.830 or 83% between the skills of listening to short stories and the skills of writing short story content of phase C elementary school students. (2) Short story listening skills and short story content writing skills influence each other by 0.688, which means that the contribution of the influence of short story content writing skills is 68%. This figure is included in the moderate category, while the rest is influenced by other factors such as the child's growth phase, environment and learning methods. Recommendations from this study is; teachers can increase the frequency of listening and writing activities so that students are trained, and schools can held listening skills test and writing skills tests programs at other phase levels and then analyze them.
