Abstract
Mahasiswa sebagai orang dewasa awal berada pada tahap eksplorasi diri guna mempersiapkan kematangan karir di masa depan. Sebagai calon sarjana, mahasiswa perlu bekal berupa wawasan, keterampilan, dan pemahaman diri agar mampu menilai seberapa besar kemampuannya dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Self-efficacy dapat mengarahkan individu untuk memahami kondisi diri untuk merefleksikan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa FIP UPI angkatan 2020 dan implikasinya bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Administrasi Pendidikan, Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pendidikan Khusus, Pendidikan Masyarakat, PGSD, PGPAUD, Teknologi Pendidikan, PERPUSINFO, dan Psikologi angkatan 2020 UPI. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimental dan teknik survei serta sampel non probability sampling dengan teknik convenience sampling, menghasilkan 566 sampel mahasiswa FIP UPI angkatan 2020. Instrumen penelitian yang dikembangkan adalah modifikasi dari dimensi-dimensi self-efficacy yang dipaparkan Bandura (1997), dan modifikasi dari aspek-aspek kesiapan kerja yang dipaparkan NACE (2020). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) self-efficacy mahasiswa secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi; 2) kesiapan kerja mahasiswa secara umum berada pada kategori proficient; 3) self-efficacy berhubungan positif secara signifikan dengan kesiapan kerja; 4) self-efficacy berkontribusi sebesar 52.9% terhadap kesiapan kerja sedangkan sisanya yakni 41.1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian dikelompokkan berdasarkan dimensi dan/atau aspek, jenis kelamin, program studi, dan platform program studi. Students as early adults are at the stage of self-exploration in order to prepare for future career maturity. As prospective graduates, students need to be equipped with insight, skills and self-understanding to be able to assess how capable they are in facing the world of work. Self-efficacy can direct individuals to understand their own condition to reflect on their abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and work readiness of FIP UPI students class of 2020 and the implications for guidance and counseling services. Participants in this research were students of the Educational Administration, Guidance and Counselling, Special Education, Community Education, PGSD, PGPAUD, Educational Technology, PERPUSINFO, and Psychology study programs, class of 2020, UPI. The approach used was a quantitative approach with experimental methods and survey techniques as well as non-probability sampling with convenience sampling techniques, resulting in a sample of 566 FIP UPI students class of 2020. The research instrument developed was a modification of the self-efficacy dimensions described by Bandura (1997) , and modifications of the work readiness aspects described by NACE (2020). The research results show: 1) student self-efficacy is generally in the high category; 2) student work readiness is generally in the professional category; 3) self-efficacy is significantly positively related to work readiness; 4) self-efficacy contributed 52.9% to work readiness while the remaining 41.1% was influenced by other factors not measured in this research. Research results are grouped based on dimensions and/or aspects, gender, study program, and study program platform.
