Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan latar belakang di lingkungan peneliti, yaitu kurangnya pengenalan perilaku prososial pada anak usia 4-5 tahun, yakni di salah satu TK di Purwakarta. Setelah ditemukannya permasalahan tersebut, peneliti menemukan cara untuk mengatasinya yakni dengan menerapkan bercerita menggunakan media pop-up book terhadap perilaku prososial anak usia 4-5 tahun. Digunakannya metode bercerita tersebut karena anak senang mendengarkan cerita, kemudian dengan pop-up book yang tampilannya lebih menarik perhatian anak untuk mendengarkan cerita. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif single subject research, dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 8 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang didapatkan tersebut kemudian diolah dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Kemudian diketahuinya pengaruh bercerita menggunakan media pop-up terhadap perilaku prososial anak dapat diamati dari naiknya nilai persentase setiap anak pada setiap tahapannya, dan memeiliki persentase overlap terendah 0%. Sehingga dapat diterangkan bahwa bercerita menggunakan media pop-up book berpengaruh terhadap perilaku prososial kepada 8 anak tersebut. ----- This research was conducted based on the background of the research environment, namely the lack of introduction of prosocial behavior in children aged 4-5 years, namely in one of the kindergartens in Purwakarta. After discovering this problem, researchers found a way to overcome it, namely by applying storytelling using pop-up book media to the prosocial behavior of children aged 4-5 years. This storytelling method is used because children like listening to stories, then with a pop-up book whose appearance attracts more children's attention to listening to the story. This research uses a quantitative single subject research method, with an ABA design. The subjects used in this research were 8 children. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data obtained is then processed and presented in the form of tables and graphs. Then it was discovered that the influence of storytelling using pop-up media on children's prosocial behavior could be observed from the increase in the percentage value for each child at each stage, and had the lowest overlap percentage of 0%. So it can be explained that telling stories using pop-up book media has an effect on the prosocial behavior of these 8 children.
