Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to examine Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning with e-infographic media on environmental pollution material in improving students' environmental literacy and collaboration skills. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. Determining the research sample used purposive sampling technique. The population of this research is all class X students at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The sample consisted of class X-9 as the control class and X-11 as the experimental class with a total of 30 students in each class. The learning material used is environmental pollution. Data collection was carried out through tests from the Middle Schools Environmental Literacy Survey/Instrument (MSELS/I) and Collaboration Self-Assessment Tools (CSAT). Environmental literacy and collaboration skills test instruments have been validated by expert lecturers and tested empirically. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed using the SPSS 25 program to obtain n-gain values and comparison of gain values. Test the improvement hypothesis environmental literacy and collaboration skills of students using test Independent samples t-test. The results of the research analysis of the gain value hypothesis test on environmental literacy showed a significant increase with the n-gain value in the control class amounting to 0.37 in the medium category and in the experimental class amounting to 0.64 in the medium category. The results of the hypothesis test analysis of the gain value on collaboration skills also showed a significant increase with the n-gain value in the control class being 0.26 in the low category and in the experimental class being 0.41 in the medium category. So it can be concluded that Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning with e-infographic media on environmental pollution material can improve the environmental literacy and collaboration skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang.
