Abstract
Dalam proses penciptaan karya, setiap seniman memiliki keragaman yang sangat kompleks baik secara visual, pemilihan material, serta teknik yang digunakan. Pada kecenderungan seni rupa masa kini tidak selalu bertolak dari narasi-narasi besar namun cenderung melakukan peroses melihat kedalam. Pengalaman secara personal yang cukup membekas dapat menjadi stimulus dalam berkarya dengan fokus visualisasi berupa garis karena penulis merasa garis mampu mewakili moment tersebut.. Berangkat dari hal itu, pemilihan medium ekspresi dalam menuangkan gagasan sangatlah penting. Tujuan dari penciptaan karya ini dapat mendeskripsikan Konsep serta proses berkarya eksplorasi garis dengan menggunakan teknik piping dalam dekorasi kue. Metode yang digunakan mengadaptasi dari proses kreatif yang mrrujuk pada tero kreativitas yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penulis, meliputi: preparasi I, Inkubasi, Stimulus, Ide, Verifikasi, Preparasi II, alat dan bahan, pengolahan bahan, Proses Berkarya, hingga publikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa tujuh karya dengan kecenderungan dominasi pengulangan garis dengan pola geometris serta dengan adanya temuan pada aspek alat dan bahan. In the process of creating works, every artist has a very complex variety both visually, in the selection of materials, and in the techniques used. The tendency of contemporary art is not to always depart from grand narratives but tends to carry out a process of looking within. Personal experiences that leave a lasting impression can be a stimulus in creating works with a focus on visualization in the form of lines because the writer feels that lines can represent that moment. Departing from that, the choice of medium of expression in expressing ideas is very important. The purpose of creating this work is to describe the concept and process of creating a line exploration using the piping technique in cake decoration. The method used is adapted from the creative process which refers to creativity that has been adapted to the needs of the author, including preparation I, Incubation, Stimulus, Idea, Verification, Preparation II, tools and materials, material processing, Work Process, to publication. The results of this study are seven works with a tendency to repeat lines with geometric patterns as well as findings on the aspects of tools and materials.
