Abstract
Puisi anak adalah bentuk karya sastra yang menghasilkan ungkapan dan perasaan penyair melalui bahasa yang mengikuti indikator penulisan penggunaan diksi, rima, kata konkret dan majas. Hanya saja, banyak kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik ujenjang sekolah dasar perihal penulisan puisi dengan empat indikator penulisan puisi tersebut. Salah satu solusi yang dianjurkan untuk permasalahan ini adalah dengan memberi bantuan media gambar dengan metode pembelajaran yang bisa dilakukan saat penerapannya, contohnya adalah project-based learning (PjBL). Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan keterampilan menulis puisi bagi peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan PjBL berbantuan media gambar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen pada pokok bahasan penulisan puisi dengan subjek 36 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah instrumen tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis dari data yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL berbantuan media gambar dalam kemampuan keterampilan menulis puisi bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar sebesar 80,8%, dan terdapat 19,2% pengaruh faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan penggunaan PjBL berbantuan media gambar terhadap kemampuan keterampilan menulis puisi. ----- Child poetry is a form of children literature in which creating the expression and feelings of the writer through a language that follows four poetry writing indicator: the usage of diction; rhymes; concrete words; and metaphors. However, there are difficulties that was faced by the students in their early age when they are being faced with the four indicator mentioned before. One solution that is suggested for this is the assistance of pictures as a learning media that could be implemented with multiple learning methods, such as project-based learning (PjBL). Thus, the purpose of this study is to find out the state of students’ poetry writing skill before and after the implementation of PjBL with the assistance of pictures as a learning media. The method that was used in this study is quasi experiment with the focus of poetry writing for 36 students as the research subjects. The instrument that was used for this study are observation, tests, and documentation. The analyzed data showed that the affect of PjBL with the assistance of pictures as learning media in poetry writing skills for elementary school students is 80.9% and there are 19.2% effect of other factors that affected the success for the implementation of PjBL with the assistance of pictures as learning media for students’ poetry writing skills.
