Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang memiliki pemahaman konsep rendah pada materi norma dikarenakan belum dibuatnya modul ajar yang menunjang mengenai materi tersebut sehingga pembelajaran menjadi tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis pendekatan saintifik sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada materi norma di fase C sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu Design and Development (D&D) dengan prosedur penelitian Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Desain awal modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik terdiri dari sampul depan, daftar isi, informasi umum, komponen inti, lampiran, dan sampul belakang. Penilaian ahli dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yaitu sebelum dan setelah revisi. Hasil dari ahli materi mendapatkan persentase kelayakan 98,2% dan 100%, ahli media 94,6% dan 100%, serta ahli pembelajaran 95,8% dan 100%. Hasil persentase rata-rata semua ahli adalah 96,2% sebelum revisi dan 100% setelah revisi dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Produk akhir modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik diperoleh dari hasil perbaikan berdasarkan saran dan masukkan dari para ahli. Hasil implementasi kepada peserta didik kelas V fase C, menunjukkan peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata pre-test 51,1 menjadi nilai rata-rata post-test 91,4 yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor peningkatan. Selain itu, peneliti melakukan uji N-Gain untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan produk yaitu sebesar 0,83 dengan kategori “tinggi”. Dengan demikian, modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik memiliki kriteria kelayakan sangat baik dan dapat mengupayakan peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada materi norma. Selain itu, diharapkan modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik ini juga dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dikembangkan kembali baik oleh guru maupun peneliti selanjutnya, serta sekolah dapat menyediakan sarana dan prasarana untuk mendukung pembelajaran dan pengembangan modul ajar. This research was motivated by students who had low conceptual understanding of the norm material because teaching modules that supported the material had not been created so that learning was not optimal. This research aims to overcome this problem by developing teaching modules based on a scientific approach as an effort to increase understanding of concepts in norm material in phase C of elementary schools. The research method used by researchers is Design and Development (D&D) with the Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation (ADDIE) research procedure. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The Tanoma teaching module development design based on a scientific approach consists of a front cover, table of contents, general information, core components, attachments and back cover. Expert assessment was carried out twice, namely before and after the revision. The results from material experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 98.2% and 100%, media experts 94.6% and 100%, and learning experts 95.8% and 100%. The average percentage result for all experts was 96.2% before revision and 100% after revision in the "very good" category. The final product of the Tanoma teaching module based on a scientific approach was obtained from improvements based on suggestions and input from experts. The results of implementation for class V phase C students showed an increase from a pre-test average score of 51.1 to a post-test average score of 91.4 which was influenced by several improvement factors. Apart from that, researchers conducted an N-Gain test to see the effectiveness of using the product, which was 0.83 in the "high" category. Thus, the Tanoma teaching module based on a scientific approach has very good eligibility criteria and can strive to increase understanding of concepts in norm material. Apart from that, it is hoped that the Tanoma teaching module based on a scientific approach can also be used in learning and re-developed by both teachers and future researchers, and schools can provide facilities and infrastructure to support learning and development of teaching modules.
