Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA materi tumbuhan. Hal ini dikarenakan terbatasnya penggunaan sumber belajar berupa bahan ajar yang menimbulkan tidak terfasilitasinya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan bahan ajar Buku Interaktif Mendarat berbasis Saintifik untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Fase B Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Design & Development (D&D) melalui lima tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Pengembangan bahan ajar Buku Interaktif Mendarat diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan dan materi, serta rancangan desain yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi sebuah bahan ajar untuk diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil uji kelayakan ahli materi 95%, ahli media 93%, dan ahli bahasa 94%. Hasil persentase rata-rata perolehan nilai dari semua ahli sebesar 94% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Buku Interaktif Mendarat melalui proses perbaikan berdasarkan saran dan masukan para ahli, kemudian diujicobakan kepada peserta didik melalui pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan rata-rata nilai pre test 48,2 dan nilai post test 86,6, diperkuat dengan uji N-gain untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan buku interaktif menunjukkan rata-rata 76,1% dengan kategori “Efektif”. This is due to the limited use of learning resources in the form of teaching materials which results in critical thinking abilities not being facilitated. This research aims to describe the development of scientific-based Landing Interactive Book teaching materials to improve the critical thinking abilities of phase B elementary school students. The research method used in this research is Design & Development (D&D) through five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). The development of teaching materials for the Landing Interactive Book begins with an analysis of needs and materials, as well as a design plan which is then developed into teaching materials to be tested for suitability by material experts, media experts and language experts. The results of the feasibility test were 95% for material experts, 93% for media experts and 94% for language experts. The average percentage score obtained by all experts was 94% in the "very decent" category. The Landing Interactive Book went through an improvement process based on suggestions and input from experts, then tested on students through pretest and posttest. Based on the pretest and posttest results, it shows an increase in critical thinking skills with an average pre-test score of 48.2 and a post-test score of 86.6, reinforced by the N-gain test to see the effectiveness of using interactive books showing an average of 76.1% with “Effective” category.
