Abstract

Diferensiasi media pembelajaran merupakan suatu bentuk modifikasi konten pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi semua siswa dengan modal belajar yang berbeda agar mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan diferensiasi media pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan argumentasi siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 33 siswa dan hanya terdiri atas satu kelompok eksperimen. Pembelajaran materi perubahan lingkungan dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan selama tiga minggu dengan masing-masing pertemuan diberikan media pembelajaran yang berbeda. Data keterampilan argumentasi didapatkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, sedangkan data respon siswa terhadap penggunaan diferensiasi pembelajaran didapatkan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Data keterampilan argumentasi kemudian diuji menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed-Test dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan diferensiasi media pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap naiknya skor keterampilan argumentasi, walaupun kenaikan tersebut masih sangat rendah. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan argumentasi pada saat setelah penggunaan diferensiasi media pembelajaran hanya berada pada nilai 36,21. Penggunaan diferensiasi media pembelajaran juga mampu menaikkan level keterampilan argumentasi, walaupun masih didominasi oleh level 2 keterampilan argumentasi. Diferensiasi media pembelajaran mampu memvasilitasi siswa pada gaya belajar visual dan auditorial dengan lebih baik terutama untuk memperbaiki kualitas claim, ground/data, warrant, dan rebuttal. Learning media differentiation is a form of learning content modification that aims to facilitate all students with different learning capital to get maximum learning results. This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of learning media differentiation on the argumentation skills of high school students on environmental change material. The method in this research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects totaled 33 students and consisted of only one experimental group. The learning of environmental change material was carried out three times a meeting for three weeks with each meeting given different learning media. Data on argumentation skills were obtained using a test instrument, while data on student responses to the use of learning differentiation were obtained using a questionnaire instrument. Argumentation skills data were then tested using Wilcoxon Signed-Test and N-gain test. The results showed that the use of learning media differentiation had a significant effect on the increase in argumentation skills scores, although the increase was still very low. The average value of argumentation skills at the time after the use of differentiation of learning media was only at a value of 36.21. The use of learning media differentiation is also able to increase the level of argumentation skills, although it is still dominated by level 2 argumentation skills. Differentiation of learning media is able to facilitate students in visual and auditory learning styles better, especially to improve the quality of claim, ground/data, warrant, and rebuttal.
