Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta dilapangan bahwa minimnya pengetahuan siswa tentang budaya yang ada di daerahnya, sehingga ketika ditanya siswa tidak bisa untuk menjawab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video praktis dan mengidentifikasi perbedaan antara kemampuan literasi budaya siswa yang belajar menggunakan video dengan yang tidak menggunakan video. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen Pretest Posttest Control Group, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa pada kelas eksperimen berjumlah 19 siswa dan kelas control berjumlah 16 siswa. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji beda. Hasil data di kelas eksperimen diketahui nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,001 yang dimana terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media video praktis terhadap literasi budaya siswa. Sementara untuk hasil uji beda gain kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diketahui nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,239, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan literasi budaya siswa yang belajar menggunakan video dengan yang tidak menggunakan media video. -------------- The study is backgrouted by the fact on the ground that the student's knowledge of the culture is limited, so when asked the student cannot answer. The purpose of this study is to know the impact of practical video media and identify the difference between the cultural literacy ability of the students who are learning to use the video and those who are not using the video. The applied research method is a quantitative approach with a design of the pretest posttest control group experiment, with research samples of 35 students in experiment class number 19 students and control class number 16 students. The data analysis is done through the normality test, the homogenity test, the discrepancy. The data in the experiment class known to be sig. (2-tailed) is 0,001. While for the results of the disparate experimental and control classes known as sig value (2-tailed) by 0.239, it suggests that there is no difference between the cultural literacy ability of the student who is learning to use videos and that is not using video media.
