Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui aktivitas siswa kelas I SDN Sukarahayu 01 selama penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dengan menggunakan media kartu kata, dan (2) mengetahui kondisi kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa kelas I SDN Sukarahayu 01 setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match dengan menggunakan media kartu kata. Metode yang digunakan adalah PTK dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IB SDN Sukarahayu 01 sebanyak 28 siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama 2 siklus dengan prasiklus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match berbantuan media kartu kata dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa kelas IB SD Negeri Sukarahayu 01. Pada tahap prasiklus, pembelajaran kurang efektif dan interaktif karena menggunakan model konvensional. Pada siklus I, siswa masih beradaptasi dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match dengan menggunakan media kartu kata, sehingga pembelajaran masih kurang interaktif meskipun siswa mulai tertarik dengan media tersebut. Pada siklus II, siswa sudah beradaptasi dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match berbantuan media kartu kata, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa meningkat. Hasil rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, skor observasi siswa sebesar 75 dan observasi guru sebesar 95, sedangkan pada siklus II, skor observasi siswa dan guru masing-masing mencapai 100, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 25 poin pada aktivitas siswa dan 5 poin pada observasi guru. Untuk kemampuan membaca nyaring, nilai siswa meningkat dari 80 pada siklus I menjadi 90 pada siklus II, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 10 poin. ----- This study aims to: (1) to know the activities of grade 1 students of SDN Sukarahayu 01 during the implementation of the Make A Match type cooperative learning model using word card media, and (2) to know the condition of the ability to read aloud of grade I students of SDN Sukarahayu 01 after implementing the Make A Match type cooperative learning model using word card media. The method used is PTK with the research subject of IB class students of SDN Sukarahayu 01 as many as 28 students. The design used is the Kemmis and MC model. Taggart model which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research took place over 2 cycles with a pre-cycle. The data collection methods used were observation and tests. The results showed that the application of the Make A Match type cooperative learning model with the help of word card media can improve learning activities and the ability to read aloud of IB grade students of SD Negeri Sukarahayu 01. In the pre-cycle stage, learning was less effective and interactive because it used a conventional model. In cycle I, students were still adapting to the Make A Match type cooperative learning model using word card media, so learning was still less interactive although students began to be interested in the media. In cycle II, students had adapted to the cooperative learning model of Make A Match type assisted by word card media, so that learning became more interactive and students' ability to read aloud improved. The average results showed that in cycle I, the student observation score was 75 and the teacher observation was 95, while in cycle II, the student and teacher observation scores each reached 100, showing an increase of 25 points in student activities and 5 points in teacher observations. For the ability to read aloud, students' scores increased from 80 in cycle I to 90 in cycle II, showing an increase of 10 points.
