Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi pada peserta didik di perkotaan yaitu kurangnya interaksi dan komunikasi yang baik pada siswa di sekolah. Dengan demikian, keterampilan sosial sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kontribusi model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD terhadap keterampilan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, desain Quasi Experimental bentuk Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu, X IPS 2 (eksperimen), X IPS 4 (kontrol). Variabel bebas (X) model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD, variabel terikat (Y) keterampilan sosial. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar observasi, LKPD, tes, angket, studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan data tes keterampilan sosial, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial siswa di kelas eksperimen berada pada kriteria cukup baik dengan skor 74,33%, selaras dengan keterampilan sosial siswa di kelas kontrol berada pada kriteria cukup baik dengan skor 69,54%. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat kontribusi model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu, model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD ini dapat diterapkan pada keterampilan sosial indikator compliance skills (kepatuhan). One of the problems that occurs in urban learners is the lack of interaction and good communication in students at school. Thus, social skills are very important. The purpose of this study was to analyse the contribution of STAD type cooperative learning model to social skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, Quasi Experimental design in the form of Posttest-Only Control Design. The samples used were X IPS 2 (experimental), X IPS 4 (control). Independent variable (X) STAD type cooperative learning model, dependent variable (Y) social skills. Instruments used observation sheets, LKPD, tests, questionnaires, documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used social skills test data, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that the social skills of students in the experimental class were in the good enough criteria with a score of 74.33%, in line with the social skills of students in the control class were in the good enough criteria with a score of 69.54%. Based on the t-test results, it shows that the probability value is 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a contribution of STAD type cooperative learning model on students' social skills. Recommendations for further research, namely, this STAD type cooperative learning model can be applied to social skills indicator compliance skills.
