Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi yang menunjukan rendahnya sikap kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Berawal dari permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap kerja sama siswa yang dibahas ke dalam skripsi dengan judul “Penerapan Metode Treasure Hunt sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Sikap Kerja Sama Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas X IPS SMA Kemah Indonesia 2)”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) bagaimana merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode Treasure Hunt sebagai upaya meningkatkan sikap kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah, (2) bagaimana melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode Treasure Hunt, (3) bagaimana peningkatan sikap kerja sama siswa setelah diterapkannya metode Treasure Hunt serta (4) bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada selama menerapkan metode Treasure Hunt. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain penelitian model Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dengan tiga tindakan. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I presentase rata-rata indikator sikap kerja sama siswa memperoleh 52%. Indikator kerja sama pada siklus II memperoleh 72%. Indikator sikap kerja sama siswa pada siklus III memperoleh 96%. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan data setiap siklus menunjukan peningkatan sikap kerja sama siswa di kelas X IPS SMA Kemah Indonesia 2 setelah diterapkannya metode Treasure Hunt. Dengan demikian direkomendasikan bagi guru untuk dapat menggunakan metode Treasure Hunt sebagai variasi metode pembelajaran, serta bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat menggunakan metode Treasure Hunt sebagai metode alternatif untuk meningkatkan sikap kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran. This research is motivated by the results of observations that show the low attitude of student cooperation in learning history. Starting from these problems, this study aims to improve students' cooperative attitudes which are discussed in the thesis with the title "The Application of the Treasure Hunt as an Effort to Improve Students' Attitudes of Cooperation in History Learning (Classroom Action Research in Class X IPS SMA Kemah Indonesia 2)" . The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) how to plan learning by applying the Treasure Hunt as an effort to improve students' cooperative attitudes in learning history, (2) how to carry out learning by applying the Treasure Hunt method, (3) how to increase students' cooperative attitudes after the implementation of the Treasure Hunt and (4) how the efforts made by the teacher to overcome the existing obstacles while applying the Treasure Hunt method. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research method with a Kemmis and Taggart research design model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research was carried out in three cycles with three actions. The results of the research findings show that in the first cycle the average percentage of students' cooperative attitude indicators was 52%. The indicator of cooperation in the second cycle obtained 72%. The indicator of students' cooperative attitude in the third cycle obtained 96%. Based on the results of data acquisition for each cycle, it shows an increase in the cooperative attitude of students in class X Social Studies at SMA Kemah Indonesia 2 after the implementation of the Treasure Hunt method. Thus, it is recommended for teachers to be able to use the Treasure Hunt method as a variation of the learning method, and for further researchers to be able to use the Treasure Hunt method as an alternative method to improve students' cooperative attitudes in learning.
