Abstract

Salah satu arahan dan kebijakan dari RPJMN (Rencana Jangka Panjang Menengah Nasional) ialah adanya program teaching factory yang dikhususkan untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), berdasarkan hal tersebut SMKN 9 Bandung telah menyelenggarakan program teaching factory selama beberapa tahun. Belum semua Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dapat melaksanakan program teaching factory, namun pelaksanaan program teaching factory di SMKN 9 Bandung sebagai bentuk implementasi dari arahan kebijakan Direkrorat PSMK sehingga pengupayaan yang dilibatkan memaksimalkan kemampuan yang ada guna memperoleh evaluasi yang akan menjadi titik temu dalam pengembangan program. Program teaching factory belum terdapat informasi terkait dengan hasil evaluasi secara menyeluruh mengenai keberhasilan program tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas program teaching factory di SMKN 9 Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif evaluatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi Input, Process, Output (IPO) dalam mendeskripsikan dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program teaching factory di SMKN 9 Bandung. Penelitian ini melibatkan pihak sekolah yakni Guru Keahlian Jurusan Kuliner, Peserta Program teaching factory jurusan kuliner SMKN 9 Bandung, Quality Control, serta Wakil Kepala Kurikulum SMKN 9 Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa aspek-aspek IPO dalam pelaksanaan program teaching factory belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan panduan pengembangan teaching factory namun target hasil pembelajaran sudah memenuhi salah beberapa goals dari pelaksanaan program teaching factory. Hal ini terjadi karena sekolah belum siap dalam standar yang diterapkan oleh Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri (DUDI) sehingga untuk tujuan dari program teaching factory belum sepenuhnya terpenuhi. One of the directions and policies of the RPJMN (National Medium Long Term Plan) is the existence of a teaching factory program specifically for Vocational High Schools (SMK), based on this, SMKN 9 Bandung has been holding a teaching factory program for several years. Not all Vocational High Schools (SMK) can implement the teaching factory program, but the implementation of the teaching factory program at SMKN 9 Bandung is a form of implementation of the PSMK Directorate's policy direction so that the efforts involved maximize existing capabilities in order to obtain an evaluation that will become a meeting point in program development . There is no information regarding the teaching factory program regarding the results of a comprehensive evaluation regarding the success of the program. The aim of this research is to find out how effective the teaching factory program is at SMKN 9 Bandung. The approach used is a qualitative approach with evaluative descriptive research methods. This research uses the Input, Process, Output (IPO) evaluation model in describing and analyzing the implementation of the teaching factory program at SMKN 9 Bandung. This research involved the school, namely Culinary Department Skills Teachers, Participants in the Culinary Teaching Factory Program at SMKN 9 Bandung, Quality Control, and the Deputy Head of Curriculum at SMKN 9 Bandung. In this research, it was found that the IPO aspects in implementing the teaching factory program were not fully in accordance with the teaching factory development guidelines, but the learning outcome targets had met several of the objectives of implementing the teaching factory program. This happens because schools are not yet ready for the standards applied by the Business World of Industry (DUDI) so that the objectives of the teaching factory program have not been fully fulfilled.
