Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of campus ethics on the activities of social studies education students FPIPS UPI. This study is expected to be able to illustrate the importance of academic ethics as the basis for the attitude of every academic community on campus. This research was conducted using qualitative methods by conducting data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study explain that the role of campus ethics in regulating the academic community in the UPI Campus comes from the Indonesian Law and goverment regulations from UPI itself as one of the PTNBH which has legal products that target the academic community. The implementation of campus ethics for each student class of 2019-2022 is running well starting from academic ethics, dress, communication, and organization as well as the opportunities and challenges that occur during the implementation of campus ethics. The impact of the implementation of campus ethics on the level of order has not had a significant impact due to several factors, namely, the lack of socialization of existing rules, the fading of the character education process on campus, as well as the development of violations that follow technological developments.
