Abstract
Perkembangan zaman yang sangat pesat menuntut lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan ( SMK ) untuk memiliki keterampilan seperti berpikir kritis, problem solving, berpikir kreatif, komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada saat kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di kelas XI jurusan Teknik Elektronika Audio dan Video pada mata pelajaran Perawatan dan Perbaikan Peralatan Elektronika SMKN 4 Bandung didapatkan hasil bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum memahami materi baik secara teori ataupun praktik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Perawatan dan Perbaikan Peralatan Elektronika dan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh proyek pembuatan rangkaian amplfier dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dan survei. Metode eksperimen digunakan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis, problem solving dan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan menggunakan tes sedangkan untuk metode survei digunakan untuk mengetahui pendapat siswa terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dan komunikasi setelah menyelesaikan proyek yang diberikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, problem solving serta berpikir kreatif yang diketahui melalui perbandingan hasil tes. Survei menunjukkan mayoritas siswa sangat setuju bahwa proyek yang diberikan berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi sesuai dengan hasil observasi yang menunjukkan peningkatan untuk setiap pertemuannya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa proyek pembuatan rangkaian amplifier dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap pemahaman dan peningkatan keterampilan siswa. The rapid development of the times requires Vocational High School (SMK) graduates to have skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, creative thinking, communication and collaboration. Based on the results of observations during learning and teaching activities in the Audio and Video Electronics Engineering class XI in the Maintenance and Repair of Electronic Equipment subject at SMKN 4 Bandung, it was found that the majority of students did not understand the material either theoretically or practically. The aim of this research is to determine students' understanding of the subject of Maintenance and Repair of Electronic Equipment and to find out how the project of making amplifier circuits influences students' skills. This research was carried out using quantitative experimental and survey methods. The experimental method is used to determine students' critical thinking, problem solving and creative thinking skills using tests, while the survey method is used to determine students' opinions regarding collaboration and communication skills after completing a given project. The results of this research found that there was an increase in understanding and critical thinking skills, problem solving and creative thinking which was known through comparing test results. The survey showed that the majority of students strongly agreed that the given project succeeded in improving communication and collaboration skills according to observation results which showed improvement for each meeting. Based on these results, it shows that the amplifier circuit making project can have an influence on students' understanding and improvement of skills.
