Abstract
Lingkungan sekolah menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dalam membangun kemampuan dan perilaku siswa termasuk amal saleh. Fakta menunjukkan, masih banyak ditemui permasalahan lingkungan baik fisik maupun non-fisik di sekolah, sehingga lingkungan sekolah perlu dikelola dan ditata sebagai tempat yang mendukung pada pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penataan lingkungan sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan amal saleh siswa di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk mendapatkan gambaran detail tentang bagaimana penataan lingkungan fisik maupun non-fisik di SMPN 44 Bandung dapat meningkatkan amal saleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penataan lingkungan di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung meliputi penataan lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan non-fisik. Penataan lingkungan fisik mengacu pada perancangan dan pengelolaan ruang dan bangunan yang diperuntukan untuk kesalehan siswa dengan memperhatikan aspek desain dan tata letak, pencahayaan, ventilasi udara, kebersihan dan aksebilitas di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung. Penataan lingkungan non-fisik mengacu pada pengelolaan budaya sekolah yang religius melalui program pembiasaan keagamaan, ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, pengembangan lingkungan pembelajaran dan pola interaksi sosial yang positif. Penataan tersebut berwujud pada amal saleh siswa pada kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah yaitu mencakup amal saleh secara ritual dan amal saleh secara sosial. Sekolah dengan penataan lingkungan fisik yang mendukung kenyamanan dan kebersihan serta lingkungan non-fisik yang mendorong nilai-nilai keagamaan dan sosial, akan dapat meningkatkan amal saleh siswa baik secara ritual maupun sosial. The environment school is one of the factors that influence success in building students' abilities and behaviors including good deeds. The fact shows that there are still many environmental problems both physical and non-physical in schools, so the school environment needs to be managed and organized as a place that supports character education. This study aims to describe the arrangement of the school environment in an effort to improve the character of students at SMP Negeri 44 Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to get a detailed picture of how the arrangement of the physical and non-physical environment at SMPN 44 Bandung in an effort to improve students' character. The results showed that the arrangement of the environment at SMP Negeri 44 Bandung includes the arrangement of the physical environment and the non-physical environment. The arrangement of the physical environment refers to the design and management of spaces and buildings intended for student piety by paying attention to aspects of design and layout, lighting, ventilation, and accessibility at SMP Negeri 44 Bandung. The arrangement of the non-physical environment refers to the management of a religious school culture through religious habituation programs, religious extracurricular activities, the development of a learning environment and positive social interaction patterns. The arrangement is realized in students' good deeds in daily life at school, which include ritual good deeds and social good deeds. Schools with physical environmental arrangements that support comfort and cleanliness as well as non-physical environments that encourage religious and social values, will be able to increase students' good deeds both ritually and socially.
