Abstract

Pendidikan IPS hadir dalam upaya penguatan karakter kewirausahaan pada peserta didik. Tema dan dimensi tersebut di implementasikan dalam Program Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan implementasi P5 dalam pembelajaran IPS sebagai upaya pengauatan karakter kewirausahaan peserta didik SMPN 4 Cianjur dan (2) menganalisis kesulitan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran IPS yang berorientasi penguatan karakter kewirausahaan dengan menerapkan P5. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek atau narasumber yang dipilih oleh peneliti merupakan koordinator um um P5, guru IPS, bidang kurikulum sekolah, peserta didik berjumlah 10 orang pada kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implikasi karakter kewirausahaan dalam pembelajaran IPS dianggap sangat penting untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa menjadi pribadi yang inovatif, kreatif, mandiri, dan memiliki etos kerja. Kurangnya model belajar di dominasi oleh ceramah dan sumber belajar yang hanya mengandalkan modul serta lembar kerja siswa mengakibatkan proses pendidikan karakter terhadap pembelajaran IPS kurang optimal. Social Sciences education is present in an effort to strengthen the entrepreneurial character of students. These themes and dimensions are implemented in the Independent Curriculum Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project Program. This research aims to (1) describe and explain the implementation of P5 in social studies learning as an effort to strengthen the entrepreneurial character of students at SMPN 4 Cianjur and (2) analyze teachers' difficulties in developing social studies learning that is oriented towards strengthening entrepreneurial character by implementing P5. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects or sources chosen by the researcher were the P5 general coordinator, social studies teacher, school curriculum sector, 10 students in class VII. The research results show that the implications of entrepreneurial character in social studies learning are considered very important in providing opportunities for students to become individuals who are innovative, creative, independent and have a work ethic. The lack of learning models dominated by lectures and learning resources that only rely on student modules and worksheets results in the character education process for social studies learning being less than optimal.
