Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan dari penggunaan Kombinasi Metode Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, dan Multisensory pada kemampuan mengucapkan huruf konsonan bilabial (p-b-w) pada peserta didik hambatan pendengaran di SLB Negeri Cicendo Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat kasus yang cukup kompleks di kelas 8 SMPLB pada satu orang anak dengan kasus belum dapat mengucapkan huruf konsonan bilabial (p-b-w). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang menggunakan jenis penelitian Single Subject Research. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah A1-B-A2. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas 8 SMPLB Negeri Cicendo Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes lisan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis visual yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik. Analisis visual ini mencakup analisis dalam kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kombinasi Metode Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, dan Multisensory dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengucapkan huruf konsonan bilabial (p-b-w) pada peserta didik hambatan pendengaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan dari fase Baseline 1 (A1) sebesar 8,3% meningkat sebesar 86,1% di fase Intervensi, dan juga terdapat peningkatan dari fase Intervensi ke fase Baseline 2 (A2) sebesar 88,9%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kombinasi Metode Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, dan Multisensory berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mengucapkan huruf konsonan bilabial (p-b-w) peserta didik hambatan pendengaran di SLBN Cicendo Kota Bandung. This study aims to determine the improvement of the use of the Combination of Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, and Multisensory Methods on the ability to pronounce bilabial consonant letters (p-b-w) in hearing impaired students at SLB Negeri Cicendo Bandung City. This research was conducted because there was a fairly complex case in class 8 SMPLB in one child with a case of not being able to pronounce bilabial consonant letters (p-b-w). This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods that use the type of research Single Subject Research. The design used in this research is A1-B-A2. The subjects in this study were students with hearing impairments in grade 8 SMPLB Negeri Cicendo Bandung City. Data collection was done using oral tests. The data obtained were analyzed using visual analysis presented in the form of graphs. This visual analysis includes analysis within conditions and analysis between conditions. The results showed that the combination of Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, and Multisensory methods can improve the ability to pronounce bilabial consonant letters (p-b-w) in hearing impaired students. This is indicated by an increase from the Baseline 1 (A1) phase of 8.3% increased by 86.1% in the Intervention phase, and there was also an increase from the Intervention phase to the Baseline 2 (A2) phase of 88.9%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the combination of Mouth Training, Phonetic Placement, and Multisensory methods has an effect on improving the ability to pronounce bilabial consonant letters (p-b-w) for students with hearing impairments at SLBN Cicendo Bandung City.
