Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA khususnya materi cara perkembangbiakkan tumbuhan di kelas IV SD. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik sering mengalami kebosanan pada saat proses pembelajaran IPA berlangsung. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook, mengetahui kelayakan media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook serta mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook. Subjek penelitian ini ialah peserta didik kelas IV di SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru. Pengembangan media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook ini menggunakan metode D&D (Design and Development) serta model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli terhadap media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook ini memperoleh persentase ahli materi sebesar 90%, ahli media 96% serta ahli bahasa sebesar 95% sehingga termasuk pada kategori “sangat layak”. Respon pengguna terhadap media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook ini dilakukan melalui pengisian angket. Rekapitulasi hasil penilaian respon guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 97,5% sedangkan hasil penilaian respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase sebesar 97,5% sehingga termasuk pada kategori “sangat layak”. Buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook ini menambah variasi media pembelajaran sehingga mampu mengurangi kebosanan yang dialami peserta didik pada saat proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, media buku cerita bergambar berbasis flipbook ini mampu membangun pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. ----------- This research was motivated by the lack of variety of learning media in science subjects, especially material on how to reproduce plants in class IV elementary school. This results in students often experiencing boredom during the science learning process. This research aims to determine the design of flipbook-based picture story book media, determine the feasibility of flipbook-based picture story book media and find out user responses to flipbook-based picture story book media. The subjects of this research were class IV students at UPI Cibiru Laboratory Elementary School. The development of flipbook-based picture story book media uses the D&D (Design and Development) method and the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Based on the results of expert validation of the flipbook-based picture story book media, the percentage of material experts was 90%, media experts 96% and language experts 95%, so it was included in the "very feasible" category. User responses to this flipbook-based picture story book media were carried out through filling out a questionnaire. The recapitulation of the teacher response assessment results obtained a percentage of 97.5%, while the results of the student response assessment obtained a percentage of 97.5%, so it was included in the "very appropriate" category. This flipbook-based picture story book adds variety to learning media so that it can reduce the boredom experienced by students during the learning process. Apart from that, this flipbook-based picture story book media is able to create fun learning.
