Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan latar belakang kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Kekurangan tersebut terlihat dari jarang dilakukan penyampaian materi pembelajaran tentang beragam suatu jenis yang mengakibatkan peserta didik tidak memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 45 peserta didik di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes dan non-tes. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal media pembelajaran pop-up story book mendapatkan 89% sehingga dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Hal itu dibuktikan dari adanya kenaikan nilai post test lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pre test. Pada pre test mendapatkan nilai 55,9 dan mengalami peningkatan setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran pop-up story book menjadi nilai 83,9 dari hasil post test. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, media pembelajaran pop¬-up story book mendapatkan pengaruh positif sesuai dengan implikasi yaitu membantu pendidik dalam menyampaikan materi jenis usaha ekonomi dengan mengolah sumber daya alam, dapat menarik antusias dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik untuk membaca materi yang terdapat gambar-gambar tiga dimensi yang beragam dalam media. ------------ This research is based on the background of the lack of use of learning media. This deficiency can be seen from the rare delivery of learning material about various types which results in students not understanding the learning material. This research uses development research with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The research participants consisted of 45 students in class V of elementary school. The research instrument uses tests and non-tests. The results of data analysis show that the classical completeness of the pop-up story book learning media is 89% so that it can be used in social studies learning for class V elementary schools. This is proven by the increase in post test scores which is higher than the pre test scores. In the pre-test, they got a score of 55.9 and experienced an increase after using the pop-up story book learning media to a score of 83.9 from the post-test results. Based on this, the pop¬-up story book learning media has a positive influence according to the implications, namely helping educators in conveying material on types of economic business by processing natural resources, can attract enthusiasm and curiosity of students to read material that contains pictures. three diverse dimensions in media.
