Abstract

Sekolah berbasis pesantren merupakan sekolah yang mengintegrasikan kebenaran nash (Al Qur'an dan Hadist) dengan science. Pada konteks sekolah ini, siswa memiliki jadwal pembelajaran yang terbilang padat. Selain belajar di sekolah, siswa juga tinggal di pondok pesantren untuk mendalami ilmu agama Islam. Berangkat dari konteks tersebut, nampak adanya fluktuasi motivasi belajar pada siswa. Siswa mengharapkan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tidak monoton. Persoalan ini merujuk pada cara atau kreativitas guru dalam melaksanakan pengajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini berlokasi di salah satu sekolah menengah pertama berbasis pesantren di kawasan Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dengan melibatkan tiga orang partisipan guru. Melalui eksplorasi, penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi dan mendeskripsikan kreativitas dan proses kreatif guru menuju pembelajaran kreatif. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif dengan desain etnografi pendidikan tipe studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Data yang terkoleksi kemudian diolah dengan teknik elaborative coding yang dikombinasikan dengan content analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kreativitas guru menjadi jembatan penghubung antara kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dengan kebijakan pesantren. Masing-masing partisipan guru melalui empat tahap dalam proses kreatifnya yakni preparation, incubation, illumination dan verification. Tahap yang paling dinamik dalam proses kreatif nampak pada preparation dan incubation, hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang masing-masing partisipan guru. Empat tahap dalam proses kreatif partisipan guru kemudian menghasilkan pembelajaran kreatif dengan menunjukan adanya kriteria relevance, control of learning processes, ownership of knowledge dan innovation. Pembelajaran kreatif tersebut berdampak baik pada antusias dan motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah. Pesantren-based schools are schools that integrate the truth of the texts (Al Qur'an and Hadith) with science. In this school context, students have a fairly busy learning schedule. Apart from studying at school, students also live in Islamic boarding schools to deepen their knowledge of the Islamic religion. Departing from this context, it appears that there are fluctuations in students’ learning motivation. Students expect learning to be fun and not monotonous. This issue refers to the method or creativity of teachers in carrying out teaching at school. This research was located in one of the Pesantren-based junior high schools in the West Bandung Regency area, involving three teacher participants. Through exploration, this research aims to investigate and describe teachers’ creativity and creative processes towards creative learning. This research is a qualitative study with a case study type educational ethnography design. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The collected data is then processed using elaborative coding techniques combined with content analysis. The results of this research show that teacher creativity is a bridge between learning activities in schools and Pesantren policies. Each teacher participant goes through four stages in the creative process: preparation, incubation, illumination and verification. The most dynamic stages in the creative process appear in preparation and incubation, this is influenced by the background of each teacher participant. The four stages in the creative process of teacher participants then produce creative learning by demonstrating the criteria of relevance, control of learning processes, ownership of knowledge and innovation. This creative learning has a good impact on students’ enthusiasm and motivation to learn at school.
