Abstract
Kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi menjadi tuntutan dari aktivitas pembelajaran saat ini. Namun, berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan di SMAK Gamaliel, hasilnya masih tergolong rendah. Karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran generatif terhadap High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Pre Experimental Design dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah Model Pembelajaran Generatif dan High Order Thinking Skills Siswa. Indikator dari High Order Thinking Skills yaitu tingkat berpikir pada kategori C4-C6: menganalisis, menilai, dan mencipta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal HOTS. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran generatif berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 95,65% 2) Nilai rata-rata hasil pretest seluruh siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 34,9. Sedangkan hasil posttest menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari hasil posttest seluruh siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 71,0. 3) Berdasarkan hasil uji wilcoxon, didapatkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yaitu 0,0000024 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima, yaitu terdapat perbedaan High Order Thinking Skills siswa pada pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif wilcoxon, diperoleh nilai rata-rata positive rank = 15,00 dan negative rank = 0,00 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap High Order Thinking Skills siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif. Adapun saran dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan siswa secara bersamaan 2) Untuk seterusnya guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif pada materi yang memerlukan kemampuan menganalisis. Namun guru tetap perlu memperhatikan kemampuan siswa dalam mengingat, memahami, dan menentukan terhadap materi yang sedang dipelajari 3) Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat berfokus pada motivasi belajar siswa. Higher order thinking skills are a demand of current learning activities. However, based on the results of preliminary research at SMAK Gamaliel, the results are still relatively low. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using a generative learning model on students' High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research method used Pre Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The variables in this study are Generative Learning Model and Students' High Order Thinking Skills. Indicators of High Order Thinking Skills are the level of thinking in the C4-C6 category: analyzing, assessing, and creating. The subject of this research is class XI IPS. The data collection instrument used HOTS questions. Data were analyzed using hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the generative learning model is in the very good category with a percentage of 95.65% 2) The average value of the pretest results of all experimental class students is 34.9. While the posttest results show that the average value of the posttest results of all experimental class students is 71.0. 3) Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, it is found that the significance value is 0.0000024 <0.05 so that Ha is accepted, namely there is a difference in students' High Order Thinking Skills on the pretest and posttest. Based on the results of wilcoxon descriptive analysis, the average value of positive rank = 15.00 and negative rank = 0.00 so it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in the influence of students' High Order Thinking Skills after using the generative learning model. The suggestions from the results of this study are: 1) For further research, it is hoped that it can make observations of teacher and student activities simultaneously 2) Henceforth the teacher can use the generative learning model on material that requires the ability to analyze. However, teachers still need to pay attention to students' ability to remember, understand, and determine the material being studied 3) For further research is expected to focus on student learning motivation.
