Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu: 1) Siswa cenderung menghafal konsep. Ketika menghadapi soal kontekstual dengan konsep tersebut, siswa tidak mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut; 2) Aktivitas pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan dan pengaruh model pembelajaran kolaboratif menggunakan strategi Writing in Performance Tasks (WiPT) berbasis media digital Wordwall terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua sekolah di Kecamatan Cikole, Kota Sukabumi dengan desain penelitian nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 21 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara kelas eksperimen (menggunakan model kolaboratif strategi WiPT berbasis media digital Wordwall) dan kelas kontrol (menggunakan model kolaboratif tanpa strategi WiPT berbasis media digital Wordwall). Peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (77,1%) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (65,9%). Uji rerata menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran kolaboratif menggunakan strategi WiPT berbasis media digital Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan model kolaboratif tanpa strategi WiPT berbasis media digital Wordwall.Rekomendasi untuk penelitian bahwa teliti mengenai kolaboratif strategi WiPT berbasis media digital Wordwall pada materi pelajaran lainnya dan dalam indikator pemecahan masalah perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk menyempurnakan indikator tersebut. --------- This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving abilities of elementary school students. This is caused by several factors: 1) Students tend to memorize concepts. When faced with contextual problems involving these concepts, students are unable to solve the problems. 2) Learning activities still revolve around the teacher. This prevents students from having the opportunity to develop their problem-solving abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement and influence of collaborative learning models using Writing in Performance Tasks (WiPT) strategies based on digital media Wordwall on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research was conducted in two schools in Cikole District with a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 21 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The results show that there is a difference in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities between the experimental class (using collaborative model with WiPT strategy based on digital media Wordwall) and the control class (using collaborative model without WiPT strategy based on digital media Wordwall). The improvement in the experimental class was higher (77.1%) compared to the control class (65.9%). The mean test shows a value of p = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. In conclusion, collaborative learning models using WiPT strategies based on digital media Wordwall are proven to be effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to collaborative models without WiPT strategies based on digital media Wordwall. Further research is required to refine the indicators for evaluating collaborative WiPT strategies using Wordwall digital media across different subject areas and in relation to problem-solving skills.
