Abstract

(2024) Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-esteem dan parent support terhadap career decision making self efficacy pada siswa kelas 12 SMK Negeri di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu non-probability dengan jenis accidental sampling. Responden yang dilibatkan sebanyak 463 siswa kelas 12 SMK Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga skala yaitu versi adaptasi dari The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, versi adaptasi dari Career-Related Parent Support Scale, dan versi adaptasi dari Career Decision Making Self Efficacy Scale. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari self esteem terhadap career decision making self efficacy, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari parent support terhadap career decision making self efficacy, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan dari self esteem dan parent support terhadap career decision making self efficacy. Kata Kunci: self-esteem, parent support, career decision making self efficacy, siswa kelas 12 SMK Negeri di Kota Bandung The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-esteem and parent support on career decision making self-efficacy in class 12 students at State Vocational Schools in Bandung City. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a correlational design and a non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling. The respondents involved were 463 grade 12 students at State Vocational Schools in Bandung City. The instruments used in this research consisted of three scales: an adapted version of The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, an adapted version of the Career-Related Parent Support Scale, and an adapted version of the Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale. The analysis techniques used in this research are simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The research results show that (1) there is a significant positive influence of self-esteem on career decision making self-efficacy, (2) there is a significant positive influence of parent support on career decision making self-efficacy, (3) there is a significant positive influence of self-esteem and parent support for career decision making self-efficacy.
