Abstract
Permasalahan menulis sudah tidak asing lagi bagi peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur dan hasil observasi di lapangan, ditemukan bahwa masalah yang sering muncul berupa kesulitan siswa dalam mengungkapkan dan mengembangkan ide dalam bentuk tulisan, melihat hal tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian yakni mengembangkann sebuah model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kolaboratif yaitu model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media Canva dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media Canva yang berfungsi sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni research and development (R&D) dengan desain model penelitian ADDIE (Branch, 2009). Terdapat lima tahapan dalam model ADDIE (Branch, 2009) yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk pembelajaran berupa model pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, materi dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Hasil penelitian lainnya yaitu berupa validasi kelayakan produk yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata desain model pembelajaran yakni 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Validasi materi dan evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 91% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Validasi media pembelajaran menentukan nilai rata-rata 97% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil dari penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media Canva dilihat dari nilai prates dan pascates siswa yakni menunjukan terdapat perubahan yang signifikan, nilai siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan atau prates yaitu berkisar pada rata-rata 67,2 dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan atau pascates berkisar pada rata-rata 80,1. Selain itu respons pengguna menunjukkan nilai yang positif yakni 85% dan 88%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media Canva dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di SMA layak dan bisa digunakan untuk membantu kebutuhan dalam menulis teks eksplanasi. Writing problems are familiar to students. Based on the results of the literature review and the results of observations in the field, it was found that the problems that often arise in the form of students' difficulties in expressing and developing ideas in the form of writing, seeing this, the author conducted research, namely developing an innovative and collaborative learning model, namely a problem-based learning model assisted by Canva media in learning to write explanatory texts in high school. This research aims to produce a problem-based learning model assisted by Canva media that serves as a solution to overcome the problems experienced by teachers and students in learning to write explanatory texts. The research method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE research model design (Branch, 2009). There are five stages in the ADDIE model (Branch, 2009), namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. This research produces learning products in the form of learning models, learning media, materials and learning evaluations equipped with Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). Other research results are in the form of product feasibility validation which shows the average value of the learning model design is 90% with the category "Very Feasible". Validation of learning materials and evaluations shows an average value of 91% with the category "Very Feasible". Validation of learning media determines the average value of 97% with the category "Very Feasible". The results of the application of the Canva media-assisted problem-based learning model are seen from the students' pre and post-test scores, which show that there are significant changes, student scores before being given treatment or pre-test are around an average of 67.2 and after being given treatment or post-test around an average of 80.1. In addition, the user response shows a positive value of 85% and 88%. This shows that the problem-based learning model assisted by Canva media in learning to write explanatory texts in high school is feasible and effective to use to help the needs in writing explanatory texts.
