Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi menuntut semua orang berwawasan saintifik dan literasi sains untuk memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan e-modul Persahabatan GALISTA (Gaya Listrik Sahabat Kita) berbasis contextual teaching and learning untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IV SDN P tergolong rendah dengan skor rata-rata 48,75. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IV disebabkan sumber belajar yang tidak kontekstual. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sumber belajar yang kontekstual. E-modul berbasis Flipbook ini berisikan materi mengenai gaya listrik, listrik statis, listrik dinamis, dan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Design and Development (D&D). Prosedur penelitian menggunakan alur penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil uji kelayakan e-modul Persahabatan GALISTA oleh validator ahli materi dan ahli media memperoleh rata-rata skor 94,2% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak” untuk diimplementasikan pada proses pembelajaran di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Respons pengguna yaitu guru dan siswa kelas IV menunjukkan respons yang positif. Hasil posttest literasi sains menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IV dengan rata-rata skor 85. Aspek literasi sains yang dinilai yaitu mengidentifikasi pertanyaan ilmiah, menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah, dan menggunakan bukti ilmiah. Implikasi e-modul Persahabatan GALISTA ini sebagai sumber belajar elektronik mengenai gaya listrik dan sebagai peningkat kemampuan literasi sains. Technological progress requires everyone to have a scientific perspective and scientific literacy to solve problems in life. This research is conducted to produce Persahabatan GALISTA (Gaya Listrik Sahabat Kita) e-module based on contextual teaching and learning to increase the scientific literacy of class IV elementary school students. The scientific literacy abilities of class IV students at SDN P are relatively low with an average score of 48,75. The low scientific literacy abilities of class IV students are caused by non-contextual learning resources. Therefore, there is a need for contextual learning resources. This Flipbook-based e-module contains material about electric forces, static electricity, dynamic electricity, and applications in life. The research method uses development research with the Design and Development (D&D) model. The research procedure uses the ADDIE research flow (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the feasibility test of the Persahabatan GALISTA e-module by material expert validators and media experts obtained an average score of 94,2% with the criteria "Very Feasible" for implementation in the learning process in class IV elementary schools. User responses from teachers and class IV students showed positive responses. The results of the scientific literacy post test showed an increase in the scientific literacy abilities of class IV students with an average score of 85. The assessment of scientific literacy aspects consists of identifying scientific issues, explaining scientific phenomena, and using scientific evidence. The implications of this Persahabatan GALISTA e-module are as an electronic learning resource regarding electrical forces and as increasing scientific literacy skills.
