Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan, Departemen Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. 2023 Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan kompetensi dalam dunia kerja yang tidak sejalan dengan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh angkatan kerja yang dalam hal ini adalah mahasiswa. hal tersebut terjadi dikarenakan ketidaksesuaian kurikulum dan kurangnya pengalaman mahasiswa akan dunia kerja. salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan adalah membuat program Magang Merdeka, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan mahasiswa pengalaman akan dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan penerapan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah populasi dan sampel sebanyak 80 peserta magang yang telah melakukan kegiatan magang merdeka di Sekolahmu dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan kuat antara kedua variabel tersebut, dengan skor korelasi sebesar 0.617. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta magang yang memiliki persepsi positif terhadap kurikulum berbasis kompetensi cenderung memiliki tingkat kesiapan kerja yang lebih tinggi. Educational Technology Study Program, Curriculum and Educational Technology Department, Faculty of Education, Indonesia University of Education. 2023 This research is motivated by the need for competencies in the workforce that do not align with the competencies possessed by the workforce, in this case, students. This is due to the mismatch of the curriculum and the lack of students' experience in the workforce. One way to improve graduate competencies is to create a program called "Magang Merdeka" (Independent Internship), which aims to provide students with real-world work experience. This research was conducted to determine the correlation between the implementation of competency-based curriculum and students' readiness for work. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach using a quantitative correlational method. This research used a total sampling technique with a population and sample size of 80 internship participants who have participated in the "Magang Merdeka" program at Sekolah.mu.. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of the research show that there is a positive and strong relationship between the two variables, with a correlation score of 0.617. This finding indicates that internship participants who have a positive perception of the competency-based curriculum tend to have a higher level of work readiness.
