Abstract
Persiapan untuk lapangan kerja saat ini sangat penting, terutama mengingat tingginya tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 3 Sumbawa Besar juga menghadapi tantangan serupa dengan lulusan yang belum terlibat dalam dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterampilan siswa, praktik industri, dan kesiapan kerja siswa jurusan OTKP di SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar, serta mengukur dampak positif keterampilan siswa dan praktik industri terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Metode penelitian menggunakan survei eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 30 siswa yang telah menyelesaikan praktik industri di jurusan OTKP di SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala penilaian lima poin dan dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan siswa dan hasil praktik industri mendapat penilaian tinggi, dan kesiapan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja juga tinggi. Lebih lanjut, baik keterampilan siswa maupun praktik industri memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Preparation for the current job market is crucial, especially considering the high unemployment rate in Indonesia. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 3 Sumbawa Besar faces similar challenges with graduates who haven't engaged in the workforce. This research aims to evaluate students' skills, industrial practices, and job readiness of OTKP department students at SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar, as well as measure the positive impact of students' skills and industrial practices on their readiness to enter the workforce. The research methodology employs an explanatory survey approach with a quantitative method, involving 30 students who have completed industrial internships in the OTKP department at SMKN 3 Sumbawa Besar. Data was collected through a five-point scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The research findings indicate that students' skills and outcomes from industrial internships received high ratings, and students' readiness to enter the workforce is also high. Furthermore, both students' skills and industrial practices have a positive and significant impact on their readiness to enter the job market.
