Abstract

This research is undermined by the vocational high schools, which have goals after graduation and are for work. Students who have knowledge about careers from various sources and try to apply it by choosing the job that students think is most suitable to their conditions can help make it happen. This research aims to determine the career maturity profile and produce a career guidance program design based on the career maturity of vocational school students. The research uses a quantitative research design with descriptive methods and survey techniques with a cross-sectional study design. This research used a saturated sampling technique, which means it involved all 458 class respondents, 275 (60%) who had a mature career maturity, (39.7%) who had a career maturity that was quite mature, and 1 respondent (0.2%) who had a career maturity that was not mature. This shows that the career maturity results of class XII students at SMKN 1 Bandung require a career guidance program to maintain and improve career maturity. The career guidance program is designed based on the Guidance and Counseling Implementation Operational Guide (POP BK) which experts and practitioners have conceptually tested.
