Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan alat yang membantu proses pembelajaran sehingga pesan dari guru menjadi lebih jelas dan tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Monopoli geografi (MONOGEO) menjadi media pembelajaran alternatif serta suatu inovasi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran monopoli geografi (MONOGEO) terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas XII pada mata pelajaran geografi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dan desain non equivalent control group. Variabel penelitian ini adalah media monopoli geografi (MONOGEO) dan minat belajar. Indikator minat belajar yaitu perasaan senang, menunjukkan perhatian saat belajar, ketertarikan untuk belajar, dan keterlibatan dalam belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XII IPS 3 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XII IPS 2 (kelas kontrol). Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan lembar validasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas K-S, uji homogenitas levene statistic, dan uji hipotesis (uji paired sample t-test, uji independent sample t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan minat belajar sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran Monopoli Geografi (MONOGEO) pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas eksperimen dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,001, terdapat perbedaan minat belajar sebelum dengan sesudah tanpa penggunaan media pembelajaran Monopoli Geografi (MONOGEO) pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,001, dan terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji independent sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) <0,001. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran monopoli geografi (MONOGEO) berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Learning media is a tool that helps the learning process so that the message from the teacher becomes clearer and the learning objectives are achieved. Geography monopoly (MONOGEO) is an alternative learning media and an effective and efficient learning media innovation. This study aims to analyze the effect of geography monopoly learning media (MONOGEO) on the learning interest of class XII students in geography subjects. This research method uses a quasi-experiment and non-equivalent control group design. The variables of this study are geography monopoly media (MONOGEO) and learning interest. Indicators of learning interest are feelings of pleasure, showing attention while learning, interest in learning, and involvement in learning. This research was conducted in class XII IPS 3 (experimental class) and class XII IPS 2 (control class). Data collection instruments used questionnaires and validation sheets. Data analysis techniques using the K-S normality test, Levene statistic homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (paired sample t�test, independent sample t-test). The results showed that there were differences in learning interest before and after the use of Monopoly Geography (MONOGEO) learning media in geography learning in the experimental class with the results of the paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.001, there is a difference in learning interest before and after without the use of Monopoly Geography (MONOGEO) learning media in geography learning in the control class with the results of the paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.001, and there is a difference in student interest between the experimental class and the control class with the results of the independent sample t-test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) <0.001. Thus, the learning media of geography monopoly (MONOGEO) affects students' interest in learning.
