Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dasar berkonstribusi dalam menguasai kompetensi pembelajaran abad 21. Permasalahan di lapangan kemampuan literasi dasar siswa kelas satu pada beberapa sekolah dasar (SD) di Kota Bandung masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan konsep model induktif kata bergambar berbantuan smartphone (MIKBBS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dasar siswa. Adapun proses dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kondisi faktual, pengembangan model, dan analisis dampak implementasi model terhadap kemampuan literasi dasar siswa SD kelas satu. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development model desain instruksional. Sekolah yang menjadi subjek penelitian SDN Sukasirna, SDN 2 Mekarwangi, SDN Pasirkaliki Mandiri 2, SDN 196 Sukarasa, SDN KPAD, SDN Harapan, SDN Isola, SD Labschool UPI, dan SDN Sukagalih dengan jumlah 113 siswa dan 4 guru pada saat uji terbatas. Sedangkan pada saat uji lapangan melibatkan 203 siswa dan 8 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah MIKBBS dapat memfasilitasi kesiapan belajar, minat, dan profil belajar siswa sesuai dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Hasil uji kelompok kecil dan uji luas menunjukkan nilai sig. (0.000) lebih kecil dari nilai alpha (0.05), artinya bahwa MIKBBS memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi dasar siswa kelas satu. Rekomendasi penelitian ini yakni MIKBBS dengan desain sekolah hijau dapat menjadi alternatif model dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dasar siswa kelas satu SD dan respon terhadap kesiapan belajar, minat, dan profil belajar siswa. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pijakan untuk mengkaji literasi lainnya sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. The problem is that the basic literacy skills of first-grade students in several elementary schools in Bandung are still low. This research aims to produce the smartphone-assisted picture word inductive model (MIKBBS) concept in improving students' basic literacy skills. The process of this research is analyzing factual conditions, developing a model, and analyzing the impact of model implementation on the basic literacy skills of first-grade elementary school students. The research method uses Research and Development with an instructional design model. The schools that were the subject of the research were Sukasirna elementary school, Mekarwangi 2 elementary school, Pasirkaliki Mandiri 2 elementary school, Sukarasa 196 elementary school, KPAD elementary school, Harapan elementary school, Isola elementary school, Labschool UPI elementary school, and Sukagalih elementary school with a total of 113 students and four teachers during the limited test. Meanwhile, the field test involved 203 students and eight teachers. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings of this research were that MIKBBS can facilitate students' learning readiness, interests, and learning profiles by differentiated learning. The results of the small group test and the broad test show a sig value. (0.000) is smaller than the alpha value (0.05), meaning that MIKBBS significantly impacts the basic literacy of first-grade students. This research recommends that MIKBBS, with a green school design, can be an alternative model for improving the basic literacy skills of first-grade elementary school students and responses to students' learning readiness, interests, and learning profiles. For future researchers, the results of this research can be a basis for studying other literacies by learning objectives. Keywords: Keywords: MIKB, green school design, smartphone, basic literacy
