Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya permasalahan yang ditemukan oleh peneliti seputar penyelenggaraan pendidikan bertemakan kewirausahaan di Kelurahan Pahandut sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2020, diantaranya: (1) model pendidikan yang dikembangkan belum mengacu pada realitas di masyarakat; (2) aktivitas kewirausahaan lebih terfokus pada pencapaian kompetensi keterampilan dan kurang mengedepankan aspek pendukung lainnya; dan (3) tidak adanya tindak lanjut program pascapendidikan kewirausahaan. Sasaran dari penelitian ini ialah para alumni program pendidikan kewirausahaan yang berjumlah 50 orang. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimpementasikan model berbasis project based learning sebagai solusi atas permasalahan sosial di masyarakat sekaligus menumbuhkan jiwa social entrepreneurship. Pengembangan konsep model project based learning telah dideskripsikan pada bagian selanjutnya dengan validasi model menggunakan dua analisis, yakni analisis kuantitiatif untuk menemukan fit model serta analisis kualitatif melalui expert judgement dengan para pakar, ahli, dan praktisi pendidikan masyarakat. Adapun dalam proses penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode Soft System Methodology yang mencakup proses identifikasi permasalahan dan penjabaran kondisi faktual, strukturisasi permasalahan berbasis data, perumusan root definitions berbasis CATWOE (Client of customers, Actors, Transformations, World View, Owner, and Environment constraint). Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data berupa angket, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil yang diperoleh selama pemberian perlakuan ialah tumbuhnya jiwa social entrepreneurship dari pada alumni pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diindikasikan melalui adanya memberikan solusi inovatif atas permasalahan sosial, mengidentifikasi isu sosial, menciptakan nilai sosial yang lebih baik, penciptaan inovasi dan kesempatan usaha, kemampuan menghasilkan social benefit, dan memberikan keuntungan. This research is based on the problems found by researchers regarding the implementation of entrepreneurship-themed education from 2017 to 2020 in the Pahandut Village, which include: (1) the educational model developed has not referred to the reality in society; (2) entrepreneurial activity is more focused on achieving skill competencies and less prioritizing other supporting aspects; and (3) there was no follow-up to the entrepreneurship post-education program. The target of this research is 50 alumni of the entrepreneurship education program. Furthermore, this research aims to develop and implement a project-based learning-based model as a solution to social problems in society while at the same time fostering a spirit of social entrepreneurship. The development of the project based learning model concept has been described by validating the model using two analyses, namely quantitative analysis to find the fit model and qualitative analysis through expert judgment with experts, experts and community education practitioners. As for this research process, the researcher uses the Soft System Methodology method which includes the process of identifying problems and elaborating factual conditions, structuring data-based problems, and formulating CATWOE-based root definitions (Client of customers, Actors, Transformations, World View, Owner, and Environment constraint). Instruments used as data collection tools are questionnaires, observations, documentation studies, and tests. The results obtained during the treatment were the growth of a social entrepreneurship spirit from alumni of entrepreneurship education which was indicated through providing innovative solutions to social problems, identifying social issues, creating better social values, creating innovations and business opportunities, the ability to generate social benefits, and provide an advantage.
