Abstract

Tingkat kesiapsiagaan di sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempabumi yang masih rendah, menjadi masalah yang harus segara diteliti karena sekolah merupakan lingkungan yang memiliki peran penting dalam mentransfer pengetahuan dan informasi tentang penanggulangan bencana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesiapsiagaan peserta didik di SMAN 1 Palu, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dalam menghadapi ancaman bencana gempabumi, dengan berlandaskan kepada lima parameter kesiapsiagaan bencana yakni Pengetahuan dan Sikap, Kebijakan dan Panduan Sekolah, Rencana untuk Keadaan Darurat, Sistem Peringatan Bencana, dan Kemampuan Mobilisasi Sumberdaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ex pose facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 1 Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 peserta didik dengan taraf kesalahan 10%, dengan rincian sampel 34 peserta didik dari kelas X, 34 peserta didik dari kleas XII, dan 32 peserta didik dari kelas XII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket, wawancara pegawai sekolah, observasi dan dokumentasi fasilitas sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakuakn diperoleh hasil penelitian tingkat kesipasiagaan peserta didik di SMAN 1 Palu sebesar 64% yang tergolong hampir siap dengan Pengetahuan dan Sikap yang cenderung baik, Kebijakan dan Panduan SMAN 1 yang masih kurang, Rencana Tanggap Darurat peserta didik di SMAN 1 Palu yang termasuk cukup, Peringatan yang cendrung baik, dan Mobilisasi Sumberdaya yang masih kurang. The level of preparedness in schools in the face of earthquake disasters is still low, a problem that must be immediately examined because schools are an environment that has an important role in transferring knowledge and information about disaster management. The purpose of this study is to determine the preparedness of students at SMAN 1 Palu, Central Sulawesi Province in facing the hazard of earthquake disasters, based on five disaster preparedness parameters according to namely Knowledge and Attitudes, School Policies and Guidelines, Plans for Emergencies, Disaster Warning Systems, and Resource Mobilization Capabilities. The method used in this study is ex pose facto with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Palu, Central Sulawesi. The number of samples was 100 students with an error rate of 10%, with sample details of 34 students from class X, 34 students from class XII, and 32 students from class XII. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviews with school employees, observation and documentation of school facilities.. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the results of research on the level of student participation at SMAN 1 Palu is 64% which is classified as almost ready with knowledge and attitudes that tend to be good, SMAN 1 Policies and Guidelines that are still lacking, the Emergency Response Plan for students at SMAN 1 Palu which includes enough, warnings that tend to be good, and Resource Mobilization that is still lacking.
