Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih adanya siswa di SMA Negeri se-Kota Cimahi yang memiliki hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar, dengan variabel mediator kebiasaan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri se-Kota Cimahi dengan sampel sebanyak 270 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan proportionate random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar berada pada kategori tinggi kompetensi guru berada pada kategori sedang, dan kebiasaan belajar berada pada kategori sedang; (2) Kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar; (3) Kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar; (4) Pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar dimediasi oleh kebiasaan belajar. This research was motivated by the fact that there are still students in state high schools throughout Cimahi City who have learning outcomes in economics subjects that have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher competence on learning outcomes, with variables mediators of study habits. The research method used is a survey. The population in this study was class XI social studies students of State High School in Cimahi City with a sample of 270 students. The sampling technique is carried out by proportionate random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis with PLS-SEM. The results showed that: (1) Learning outcomes were in the high category of teacher competence was in the medium category, and learning habits were in the medium category; (2) Teacher competence has a positive effect on learning outcomes; (3) Study habits have a positive effect on learning outcomes; (4) The effect of teacher competence on learning outcomes is mediated by study habits.
