    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen five-tier word association
    diagnostic instrument (FTWADI) pada materi fluida statis yang valid dan reliabel
    sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengukur konsepsi peserta didik. Metode
    penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan the exploratory sequential
    design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar
    observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, instrumen four-tier open ended
    question (4TOEQ) dan instrumen five-tier word association diagnostic instrument
    (FTWADI). Instrumen yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini berupa 7 butir soal
    five-tier test word association diagnostic instrument yang kemudian diujicobakan
    kepada 170 partisipan dari tiga sekolah di tiga wilayah yang berbeda. Validitas ahli
    dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen ahli dan dua orang guru fisika. Berdasarkan hasil
    validitas ahli semua butir soal dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan.
    Kemudian Data hasil uji coba lapangan dianalisis menggunakan Many Facet Rasch
    Measurement (MFRM) dengan bantuan aplikasi minifac. Berdasarkan hasil uji
    unidimensionalitas didapatkan variance explained by rasch measures sebesar
    28,33% yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Nilai Outfit MnSq, ZStd dan PT�measure correlation menunjukan bahwa enam dari tujuh item dinyatakan valid.
    Adapun untuk reliabilitas instrumen secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori
    sangat baik dengan nilai item reliability 0,97. Kemudian untuk daya pembeda, butir
    2 sampai 7 berada dalam kategori sangat baik dan satu butir lainnya kategori kurang.
    Untuk tingkat kesukaran didapatkan bahwa butir 1, 2, dan 3 berada dalam kategori
    sukar dan butir 3, 4, 5, dan 6 berada dalam kategori mudah. Hasil akhir dari
    penelitian ini didapatkan enam butir soal FTWADI yang valid dan reliabel yang
    dapat digunakan untuk mengukur profil konsepsi peserta didik pada materi fluida
    statis

    This study aims to produce a five-tier word association diagnostic instrument
    (FTWADI) on static fluid material that is valid and reliable so that it can be used to
    measure students' conceptions. The research method used is mixed methods with the
    exploratory sequential design. The research instruments used in this study were
    observation sheets, interview sheets, expert validation sheets, four-tier open ended
    question (4TOEQ) instruments and five-tier word association diagnostic instruments
    (FTWADI) instruments. The instrument developed in this study was in the form of
    7 item five-tier word association diagnostic instrument questions which were then
    tested on 170 participants from three schools in three different regions. Expert
    validity was carried out by two expert lecturers and two physics teachers. Based on
    the results of the validity of the experts, all items were declared valid and feasible to
    use. Then the data from field trials were analyzed using the Many Facet Rasch
    Measurement (MFRM) with the help of the minifac application. Based on the results
    of the unidimensionality test, the variance explained by rasch measures was 28.33%
    which was included in the sufficient category. Outfit MnSq, ZStd and PT-Measure
    Correlation values show that six out of seven items are declared valid. As for the
    reliability of the instrument as a whole, it is included in the very good category with
    an item reliability value of 0.97. Then for discriminating power, items 2 to 7 are in
    the very good category and one other item is in the poor category. For the difficulty
    level, it was found that items 1, 2, and 3 were in the difficult category and items 3,
    4, 5, and 6 were in the easy category. The final results of this study obtained six valid
    and reliable FTWADI items that can be used to measure students' conceptual profiles
    on static fluid material.
