Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tujuan pendidikan nasional yaitu menciptakan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis agar bisa mengambil keputusan yang terbaik dalam memecahkan setiap permasalahan.Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji teori konstruktivisme melalui penggunaan metode pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning mempengaruhi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, pengaruh tingkat self efficacy siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan self efficacy siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2x3. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Telukjambe Karawang dengan menggunakan instrumen soal dan angket. Analisis data akan menggunakan Two-Ways ANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS 24. Temuan penelitian ini:1) Penggunaan metode pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning mempengaruhi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. 2) Tingkat self efficacy siswa mempengaruhi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi.3) Tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan self efficacy siswa terhadap tingkat kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. This research is motivated by the aim of national education, namely to create students who have the ability to think critically so that they can make the best decisions in solving each problem. This study aims to test constructivism theory through the use of problem-based learning methods and discovery learning affects the level of students' critical thinking skills. the influence of the level of student self-efficacy on students' critical thinking skills, the influence of the interaction between learning methods and students' self-efficacy on students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is a quasi-experimental, with a 2x3 factorial research design. The research was conducted on students of SMA Negeri 1 Telukjambe Karawang using question and questionnaire instruments. Data analysis will use Two-Ways ANOVA with the help of SPSS 24. The findings of this study: 1) The use of problem-based learning and discovery learning methods affects the level of students' critical thinking skills in economic subjects. 2) The level of student self-efficacy affects the level of students' critical thinking skills in economic subjects. 3) There is no influence of the interaction between learning methods and students' self-efficacy on the level of students' critical thinking skills in economic subjects.
