Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kinerja karyawan yang secara umum masih rendah, hal ini ditandai dengan sering terjadinya keterlambatan dalam bekerja, dan rata – rata jam kerja karyawan yang kurang optimal. Permasalahan ini harus segera diatasi agar kinerja karyawan meningkat dan tujuan perusahaan tercapai. Indikasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan adalah dengan pengelolaan keragaman tenaga kerja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai keragaman tenaga kerja serta kinerja karyawan dan sejauh mana pengaruh keragaman tenaga kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi 63 orang karyawan,. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh memberikan kesimpulan bahwa keragaman tenaga kerja berada pada kategori tinggi dan kinerja karyawan berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan korelasi sebesar 0,532, artinya terdapat hubungan sedang. Hasil perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana didapat persamaan Y= 14,097 + 0,818X dan KD 28,3% artinya pengaruh keragaman tenaga kerja terhadap karyawan sebesar 28,3% sedangkan sisanya 71,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor atau variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh penulis. Kata Kunci: Keragaman Tenaga Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan The background of this research is the level of performance of labor in General is still low, it is with low labor performance are often seen delay in work, and average hours of labor is not optimal. This problem have to resolve quickly in order to increase labor motivation and reach goals of company Indicate to increase labor performance is workforce diversity management. Based on it this research aims for knowing description about workforce diversity with labor performance and knowing as far as impact of workforce diversity towards labor performance in company. Type of research method used is descriptive and verificative methods with 63 labor population. Analyze technique which used is pearson correlation coefficient and simple regresion analysis. Research result which obtainable gives conclusion that workforce diversity is the high category and labor performance is the medium category. Result of calcullation from correlation as big as 0,532. it means there is medium enough relation. Calcullation result simple regresion analysis be obtained equation Y = 14,097 + 0,818X and Determination Coefficient 28,3% it means correlation of workforce diversity toward labor performance in amount of 28,3% whereas the rest 71,7% impacted by other factors or variables which not research by writer Key Word : Workforce Diversity, Labor Performance
