Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung. Kesiapan yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi pemahaman guru mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka, kesiapan dalam mengembangkan Kurikulum Operasional Satuan Pendidikan (KOSP), kesiapan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka, serta kesiapan dalam mengembangkan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), dimana masing-masing aspek tersebut ditinjau kembali dari segi kesiapan kognitif, kesiapan sikap, dan kesiapan perilakunya. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya rencana penetapan Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai kurikulum nasional, namun hingga saat ini masih terdapat guru yang belum siap dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya pemahaman dan pengamalan yang dimiliki para guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian berupa survei. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung sebanyak 85 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala penilaian kesiapan model Aydin & Tasci (2005). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung termasuk ke dalam kategori siap, namun masih membutuhkan sedikit peningkatan. Aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan oleh guru diantaranya kesiapan dalam mengembangkan KOSP dan kesiapan dalam mengembangkan P5. This study aims to see the level of teacher readiness in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah in Bandung City. The readiness of implementing the Independent Curriculum measured in this study included teachers' understanding of the Independent Curriculum, readiness in developing KOSP, readiness in planning, implementing, and evaluating Independent Curriculum learning, and readiness in developing P5. Every aspect that is measured in terms of cognitive readiness, attitude readiness, and behavioral readiness.The background of this study is the plan to establish the Independent Curriculum as the national curriculum, but until now there are still teachers who are not ready to implement the Independent Curriculum. This is caused by the lack of optimal understanding and practice that teachers have regarding the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research with a survey method. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The population in this study was 85 teachers at Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bandung City. Sampling used total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the Readiness Model Aydin & Tasci (2005). The results of the study show that the readiness of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah Bandung City is included in the ready category, but still needs a little improvement. Aspects that need to be improved by teachers include readiness to develop KOSP and readiness to develop P5.
