Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peninkatan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi peserta didik melalui analisis kronologi waktu dan peristiwa pada bidang bahasa Indonesia materi menulis teks deskripsi di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan peserta didik dalam kengiatan pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada bidang bahasa Indonesia belum optimal. Pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi yang sebelumnya tidak mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Hal ini ditunjukan dari hasil belajar peserta didik pada bidang materi bahasa Indonesia masih rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Eksperiment dengan populasi kelas V SD Negeri Citapen Kota Tasikmalaya sebanyak 100 peserta didik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa sampel quota sampling melalui rincian kelas VA sebanyak 15 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebanyak 15 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes. Instrument penelitian menggunakan rubrik keterampilan menulis berjulah 15 aspek dan telah dilakukan tahap validasi instrument. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis menggunakan uji beda rata-rata menghasilkan skor Asymp. Sig. (2-taied) sebesar 0.023 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5% menghasilkan. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa menalui analisis kronologi waktu dan peristiwa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi bidang bahasa Indonesia materi menulis teks deskripsi dipeserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Citapen Kota Tasikmalaya. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' writing descriptive text skills through an analysis of the chronology of time and events in the field of Indonesian material for writing descriptive texts in grade V of elementary school. It is motivated by the difficulties of students in learning activities to write descriptive texts in the Indonesian language field that are not optimal. Learning to write descriptive text that previously did not achieve the desired results. This is shown from the learning outcomes of students in the field of Indonesian language material which is still low. This study used a Quasi-Experimental research method with a population of 100 students in class V SD Negeri Citapen Tasikmalaya City with a sampling technique in the form of quota sampling through details of 15 students in the VA class as the experimental class and 15 students in the VB class as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests. The research instrument uses a writing skills rubric with 15 aspects and the instrument validation stage has been carried out. Based on the results of the hypothesis using the average difference test produces an Asymp score. Sig. (2-taied) of 0.023 with a significance level of 5% yields. Therefore, it was concluded that through an analysis of the chronology of time and events could improve the skills of writing descriptive texts in the Indonesian language field of writing descriptive text material for fifth grade students at Citapen Elementary School, Tasikmalaya City.
