Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan peneliti tentang pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang kurang diminati dan sedikit menyita perhatian siswa. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya dikarenakan kurang menariknya media yang membantu dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Sehingga mempengaruhi minat siswa untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut dengan menggunakan media film berbahasa Arab dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, sebagai cara untuk melatih siswa aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan untuk menarik minat siswa dalam belajar bahasa Arab serta untuk mengetahui berpengaruh atau tidaknya media film dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa didalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif melalui pendekatan quasi experimen dengan design penelitian quasi experimental nonequevalent control group design. Tedapat dua kelas sebagai sample kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kedua kelas tersebut diberikan pretest untuk mengetahui keadaan awal, setelah itu kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 20 siswa diberikan treatment (perlakuan), sedangkan kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 20 siswa tidak diberikan treatment. Langkah akhir, diberikan posttest untuk mengetahui keadaan akhir kedua kelas tersebut adakah pengaruh dari metode (treatment) yang digunakan. Treatment dalam penelitian ini yaitu media film berbahasa Arab. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata pretest kemampuan menyimak siswa dikelas eksperimen sebesar 54,8 dan potstest sebesar 83,0. Adapun nilai rata-rata pretest kemampuan istima siswa dikelas kontrol sebesar 55,0 dan posttest 63,5. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dikelas eksperimen sebesar 28,2 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 8,5. Maka diketahui bahwa peningkatan nilai pada kelas eksperimen jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20 menunjukan, nilai signifikansi, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan uji-t, pada uji-t posttest di dapat hasil hitungan sebagai berikut thitung (7,419) lebih besar dari ttabel (2,025) maka pada tingkat kekeliruan 5% diputuskan untuk menerima Ha dan menolak Ho. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media film dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa. Kata kunci: Media Film, kemampuan menyimak, bahasa Arab. Listening in language processing is beginner skillsthatshould being owned by someone who is learning a language. This competence has the relevance strongest with thinking processesthat underlie language. There for listening skill ought to be the most concern which is used to indicate a person’s race in the middle of studying foreign language. If the ability listening improved the other ability should improved. When the ability of listening right, then it’s should be true when it’s speaking or writing and vice versa. because the important of listening ability in learning Arabic language, therefore learning Arabic language must be packed as possible so that learning objectives can be achieved. But in fact, learning Arabic language toward the student is unattractive. One of the factors is unattractive media which helps in the process of learning Arabic language. So it’s affecting the interest of the student to learn the Arabic language. The study aims is to solve these problem by using the Arabic language movie in learning Arabic language, as one way to practice the student actively in the learning process and to interesting the process of learning Arabic language, also it’s to determine whether or not the Arabic language movie effective in improving listening ability of student in learning Arabic language. The method used in this study was Quasi Experimental. Where there are two groups were given a pretest to determine the initial state, after which the class is given the experimental treatment (treatment) by using the Arabic language movie, to determine differences in the experimental class (treated with Arabic language movie) with grade control (untreated) the samples are given posttest. Based on the data obtained, the average pretest scores from listening ability students the experimental class 54, 8 and posttest 83, 0. In the control class average pretest from listening ability 55, 0 and posttest 63, 5. Posttest improvement in the experimental class was 18.02 and posttest improvement on the control class 3.78. It means that the average posttest experimental class with a grade greater than control after given treatments with little Arabic language movie. The result of calculation by using SPSS version 20. It’s shows the signification value, this can be proved by the t-test, in t-test posttest, so the result is t-count (7.419) is greater than t-table (1.684) at 5% error rate was decided to reject Ho and accept Ha. So it can be concluded that there are significant differences on posttest outcomes the listening ability of student among students who are learning by Arabic Language Movie than students who are not using the Arabic language movie.
