Abstract
Hasil studi pendahuluan terhadap guru olahraga mengajar penjas, terindikasi masih lemahnya dalam pengembangan materi, penyediaan media, variasi metode, dan rendahnya persepsi belajar siswa. Selain itu ditemukan pula proses pengajaran lemah dalam pengembangan pendidikan siswa. Sebuah penelitian deskriptif dengan desain survei tehnik penyebaran angket telah dilakukan kepada 13 sekolah dan 20 orang guru SMPN se-Kota bandung. Angket disebarkan untuk menelusuri kompetensi pedagogik, terkait dengan penguasaan rancangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, evaluasi pembelajaran, dan pemahaman terhadap peserta didik dengan skala jawaban tertutup. Melengkapi penyebaran angket digunakan pula teknik observasi dengan studi dokumentasi. Melalui statistik sederhana, didapat kompetensi pedagogik guru olahraga memiliki kompetensi pedagogikdengan kategori baik dalam hal pengembangan olahraga siswa. Kata kunci : penguasaan rancangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, evaluasi pembelajaran, dan pemahaman terhadap peserta didik. The results of a preliminary study to teach teacher of physical education, indicated the weakness in materials development, media learning, variation method, and the low perception of student learning. In addition it was also found that the teaching process is weak in the educational development of students. A descriptive study design technique questionnaire survey was conducted to 13 schools and 20 teachers in Junior High School located the city of Bandung. Questionnaire distributed to browse pedagogical, related to mastery learning design, learning implementation, evaluation of learning, and understanding of learners with closed answer scale. Completing the questionnaire is also used observational techniques to study documentation. Make use of simple statistics, obtainnable pedagogical competence teacher of physical education categories in terms sports development of students.
