Abstract

This research is motivated by the many deviant moral actions in society, because of that teachers have a very important role in developing morals of early childhood, so teachers need to have personality the good one. The purpose of this research is to analyze the personality competency profile of kindergarten teachers in order to develop the morale of early childhood. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed with thematic analysis techniques. The results of the research findings are as follows: (1) The teacher has been able to display an exemplary profile by knowing the meaning of exemplary, displaying it through words and deeds in the form of polite, friendly behavior, greeting, thanking, saying good things, and behaving positively, as well as the teacher knowing that his example can develop the morale of early childhood (2) The teacher is also able to display a profile of pride in being a kindergarten teacher by knowing the meaning of pride, mentioning the reasons for being proud to be a kindergarten teacher, showing his pride in the form of dedication, responsibility, hard work, and come on time, and the teacher knows that this feeling of pride can develop the morale of early childhood (3) The teacher has also been able to display a profile of self-confidence by knowing the meaning of self-confidence, mentioning things that make him confident and not, then showing a sense of confident when teaching and meeting children, and knowing that this confidence can develop early childhood morale. This research is recommended to teachers with the hope of being able to try to realize their personality competencies, especially in the aspect of providing a model and is also recommended to future researchers to examine teacher personality competencies in other aspects and use quantitative methods so that the scope of the research can become wider.
