Abstract
ABSTRAK PENGARUH POSITIVE ACTIVITY PUNISHMENT TERHADAP PENURUNAN PERILAKU AGRESIF VERBAL PADA ANAK DENGAN HAMBATAN EMOSI DAN PERILAKU DI SD PASCAL MONTESSORI BANDUNG (Benedikta Vurry Putri, 1701859, Departemen Pendidikan Khusus, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari diterapkannya positive activity punishment terhadap perilaku agresif verbal peserta didik di SD Pascal Montessori. Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah ketidakberhasilan penggunaan silent card bagi peserta didik yang mengucapkan kata-kata umpatan dalam bahasa Inggris dan menimbulkan perilaku agresi fisik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen dan jenis Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan adalah desain A-B-A’. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 4 di SD Pascal Montessori. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan observasi dan menghitung frekuensi perilaku agresif verbal muncul yang ditandai degan menggunakan tally atau turus. Intervensi yang diberikan pada subjek adalah program positive activity punishment yang merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan sebagai konsekuensi dari melanggar aturan atau melakukan perilaku yang tidak baik yang dalam penelitian ini dikhususkan untuk perilaku agresif verbal mengumpat dalam bahasa Inggris. Data dari penelitian yang telah dianalisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi akan disajikan dalam bentuk grafik dan tabel. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa positive activity punishment berpengaruh baik terhadap penurunan frekuensi perilaku agresif verbal pada anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari penurunan frekuensi perilaku agresif verbal pada subjek. Pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) subjek memiliki rata-rata 5, sedangkan pada fase intervensi (B) peserta didik memiliki nilai rata-rata 3.625 dan pada fase baseline-2 (A-2) peserta didik memiliki rata-rata 2.25. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa program positive activity punishment mempengaruhi penurunan frekuensi perilaku agresif verbal yang muncul di SD Pascal Montessori. Rekomendasi bagi guru yaitu untuk merencanakan penerapan positif activity punishment bersama guru kelas, guru mata pelajaran dan peserta didik sehingga hasilnya akan lebih optimal. Rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya yaitu diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat melengkapi program positif activity punishment supaya hasil lebih optimal dan peserta didik tidak beralih pada agresif fisik karena menahan dirinya utnuk tidak mengumpat. Kata kunci: Positive activity punishment, perilaku agresif verbal, Anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku ABSTRACT The Influence of Positive Activity Punishment on The Decrease of Verbal Aggressive Behavior for Children with Emotional and Behavior Disorder at Bandung Pascal Montessori Elementary School (Benedikta Vurry Putri, 1701859, Ministry of Special Education, Indonesia University of Education) This study aims to determine how much influence the application of positive activity punishment has on the verbally aggressive behavior of students at SD Pascal Montessori. The background of the problem in this study is the unsuccessful use of silent cards for students who say swear words in English and cause physical aggression. This research is quantitative, with experimental research methods and single-subject research (SSR) types. The design used is the A-B-A design. The subjects in the study were 4th-grade learners at SD Pascal Montessori. The data collection technique used in this study was to observe and calculate the frequency of verbally aggressive behavior appearing, which was marked by using a tally. The intervention given to the subject was a positive activity punishment program, which is an activity carried out as a consequence of breaking the rules or committing bad behavior. This study was devoted to aggressive behavior, verbal behavior, and swearing in English. Data from research that has been analyzed under and between conditions will be presented in graphs and tables. The study's results showed that positive activity punishment had a good effect on decreasing the frequency of verbal aggressive behavior in children with emotional and behavioral barriers. This can be seen from the decrease in the frequency of verbal aggressive behavior in subjects. In the baseline-1 phase (A-1), the subjects had an average of 5, while in the intervention phase (B), learners had an average score of 3.625, and in the baseline-2 phase (A-2), learners had an average of 2.25. Thus, it can be concluded that the positive activity punishment program affects the decrease in the frequency of verbal aggressive behavior that appears in SD Pascal Montessori.
