Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran pada elemen pembelajaran Gambar Teknik di konsentrasi keahlian DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Garut oleh pendidik cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah. Metode tersebut mengakibatkan peserta didik berkurang antusiasnya, kurangnya fokus dan tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran. Interaksi antara peserta didik dengan guru pun kurang baik karena terdapat cukup banyak peserta didik yang merasa sungkan dan malu untuk bertanya secara aktif kepada guru yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan usia yang jauh antara peserta didik dan guru. Sehingga terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang nilainya tidak memenuhi KKTP (Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran) dalam tugasnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode ceramah yang diimplementasikan oleh guru kurang cocok dengan peserta didik yang dimana elemen pembelajaran Gambar Teknik memerlukan pendalaman pemahaman untuk praktik. Selain itu, jika peserta didik hanya mendengarkan materi secara terus-menerus mereka bisa bosan dan kehilangan konsentrasi, sehingga perlunya pembelajaran praktik serta diskusi secara aktif antara peserta didik pada saat proses pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, dilakukan penelitian menggunakan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan tutor sebaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah hasil belajar peserta didik berupa gambar manual denah rumah tinggal sederhana 1 lantai dan observasi kegiatan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada tugas gambar manual sebesar 21.4% dengan perhitungan peningkatan n-gain score sebesar 0.47 dengan kategori sedang. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan tutor sebaya dapat diterapkan dengan baik serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik siswa kelas X DPIB 1 di SMK Negeri 2 Garut. The implementation of learning in Engineering Drawing subject at concentration of Building Modeling and Information Design expertise (DPIB) at SMK Negeri 2 Garut by teachers tends to use the lecture method. This method causes students to be less enthusiastic, less focus and inactivity in learning. The interaction between students and teachers is also not good because there are quite a lot of students who feel reluctant and embarrassed to ask actively to the teacher due to the large age difference between student and teacher. So, there are some students whose scores did not meet the passing grade in their assignments. It can be concluded that the lecture method implemented by teacher is not suitable for students where the Engineering Drawing subject require deepening understanding for practice. In addition, if students only listen to the teaching material continuously they can get bored and lose concentration, so it is necessary to carry out practical learning and active discussion between students during the learning process. Therefore, research was conducted using the peer tutor-assisted assignment method to improve student learning outcomes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instrument used is the learning outcomes of manual drawings from students of simple 1-storey house plans and observation of students' activities during the learning process. The results showed an increase in students' learning outcomes on manual drawing tasks by 21.4% with the calculation of an increase in the n-gain score of 0.47 with a moderate category. This research shows that the implementation of the peer tutor-assisted assignment method can be applied well and can improve the learning outcomes of students in class X DPIB 1 at SMK Negeri 2 Garut.
