Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis puisi. Hal ini karena siswa merasa kesulitan dalam mencari ide atau topik yang ingin dibahas dan kesulitan mengembangkan diksi yang tepat. Selain itu guru masih terkendala dalam memilih model pembelajaran dan media yang efektif untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujicobakan model brainwriting berbantuan video cinematic alam dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas X SMA. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas X SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X-IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dari wawancara, tes menulis puisi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil rata-rata tes awal menulis puisi siswa pada kelas eksperimen adal 69 dan pada kelas kontrol 64 dengan kategori cukup pada kedua kelas. Setelah diberikan perlakuan penerapan model brainwriting berbantuan video cinematic alam pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 85 dengan kategori baik dan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol setelah perlakuan dengan metode terlangsung adalah 75 dengan kategori cukup. Kemampuan menulis siswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan hasil signifikansi sejumlah 0,000 dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak, dan Ha diterima. Dimana rumusan Ha pada penelitian adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan menulis puisi antara kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan model brainwriting berbantuan video cinematic alam dengan kelas kontrol setelah menggunakan metode terlangsung. Keefektifan model brainwriting berbantuan video cinematic alam juga terlihat dari perbedaan jumlah kenaikan nilai pada kedua kelas dimana pada kelas eksperimen jumlah kenaikan kelas sebanyak 16 poin dan pada kelas kontrol 11 poin. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low interest and ability of students in writing poetry. This is because students find it difficult to find ideas or topics to discuss and have difficulty developing proper diction. In addition, teachers are still constrained in choosing effective learning models and media to be able to improve students' poetry writing abilities. This study aims to test a brainwriting model assisted nature cinematic video in teaching poetry writing for class X high school students. By using a quasi-experimental research method with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted on class X SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. The sample in this study were students of class X-IPA 2 as the experimental class and X-IPS 2 as the control class. Data were obtained from interviews, poetry writing tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, the average results of the initial poetry writing test for students in the experimental class were 69 and in the control class 64 with sufficient categories in both classes. After being given the treatment of applying the brainwriting model assisted nature cinematic videos in the experimental class, an average value of 85 was obtained in the good category and the average value in the control class after treatment with the direct method was 75 in the sufficient category. The writing ability of students in the control and experimental classes increased. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the independent sample t-test, it shows a significance result of 0.000 where the value is smaller than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Where Ha's formulation in the study was that there was a significant difference in the ability to write poetry between the experimental class after using the brainwriting model assisted natural cinematic video and the control class after using the direct method. The effectiveness of brainwriting model assisted by natural cinematic videos can also be seen from the difference in the amount of increase in grades in the two classes where in the experimental class the number of grade increases was 16 points and in the control class 11 points.
