Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan pembelajaran khususnya dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa. Permasalahan tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya rasa percaya diri dari diri siswa sehingga menyebabkan pelafalan, intonasi, dan ekspresi kurang terlihat dengan baik. Penyebab lain dari permasalahan tersebut adalah kurangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan antusiasme dan motivasi siswa dalam berbicara dengan terampil. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangan media pop up digital dongeng anak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III sekolah dasar yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan produk media pembelajaran serta melihat peningkatan keterampilan berbicara terhadap media pop up digital ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu D&D dengan model PPE. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes bercerita dan lembar catatan kerja. Hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli praktisi menunjukkan angka 98%, 94%, dan 91% yang dikategorikan layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba produk yang dilakukan di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung menunjukkan hasil pretest yang menunjukkan skor rata-rata 12,07 dengan kategori baik kemudian hasil rata-rata posttest yang didapatkan yaitu 17,60 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III sekolah dasar terhadap media pop up digital dongeng anak sebesar 0,7 yang berada pada kategori sedang. This study was motivated by the existence of learning problems, especially in students' speaking skills. These problems occur because of the lack of self-confidence of students, causing pronunciation, intonation, and expression to be less well seen. Another cause of the problem is the lack of learning media that can increase students' enthusiasm and motivation in speaking skillfully. Therefore, this study intends to develop digital pop up media of children's fairy tales to improve the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students which aims to describe the development of learning media products and see the improvement of speaking skills on this digital pop up media. The method used in this research is D&D with PPE model. While the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, storytelling tests and work record sheets. The results of the validation of media experts, material experts and practitioners showed 98%, 94%, and 91% which were categorized as suitable for use. Based on the results of product trials conducted in one of the elementary schools in Bandung City, the pretest results showed an average score of 12.07 with a good category then the average posttest results obtained were 17.60 with a very good category. The results of the inferential analysis showed an increase in the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students on digital pop up media for children's fairy tales of 0.7 which is in the medium category.
