Abstract

This research that entitled with “Development of Interactive Multimedia for Learning - Instructional Games Model of CAI To Increase Student Motivation of Learning” is a research and development with a purpose to develop an instructional games as interactive multimedia for learning that can increase student motivation of learning. This research is also have purposes to discover student opinion and interest toward learning that use multimedia instructional games, to see validity or feasibility of instructional games multimedia that has been developed and also to see student appraisal toward multimedia that has been developed. From phases of research and development that has been done, obtained research data from questionnaires that are: field survey questionnaires that has been given to 32 students of class X2 in High School 2 of Cimahi in analysis phase, expert validation questionnaires in development phase that has been given to lecturers and teachers of ICT, student appraisal toward multimedia questionnaires and student motivation of learning questionnaires in implementation phase. From this research, obtained some results that are: 1) almost all student give positive responses toward learning that use multimedia instructional games, 2) instructional games multimedia that has been developed is very good-rated and proper to use with average percentage of feasibility as big as 81.03% by media experts and 91.90% by subject of instruction experts, 3) student appraised by very good-rated toward instructional games multimedia that has been developed with appraisal percentage as big as 85.156%, 4) there is an increase as big as 6.016% from student motivation of learning questionnaire between before and after using of instructional games multimedia.
